nope no needle or wheel inside. it was sold to be as a boyu skimmer but i search online i couldn't find anything similar. looks more like a jebo to me but still not a perfect match i understand #1 but i'm confused with #2. on the right hand side there is already a tubing connected to an air pump. when you said exposed to air does it mean that i dont require an air pump at all?

hello all, got my tank a skimmer today and i'm not too sure of how to get it set up. this is how it is now. the air inlet on the left, i don't think its supposed to be there but i connected it to a wood piece and the bubbles seem smaller. the left tube is also where the water is supposed to exit i think. but if i only rely on the air tube on the right the bubbles are rather big. anyone has any advice?
