if you're getting a gramma dont get damsels too. especially those yellow tail blue damsels. i've lost a royal gramma to that. $20 lose to $2 sighhhh

agreed! no matter how small and timid it is now, it'd change soon. i've lost 3 leopard wrasses (~3"), 1 banana (2.5") and 1 hawaiian pin stripe (2") to a less than 1.5" sixline. and those are only the ones i remember

ahh never never never never dose copper in a reef tank. your corals won't like it even though the fish may need the treatment for ich. did you do a water change after that?

i personally find it hard to maintain lps colours without a chiller. previously i had mannyyyyy problems with lps bleaching due to fluctuating temp. try finding a second hand one on the fourm! shouldn't cost you too much for a 3'
