  1. pinnacle vietnam shipment. lots of large/medium elegance with one that is almost all brown with yellow tips . there're also the usual hammers, frogspawns and brains. still have 2 rhizos left as well
  2. wow! care to share what dosing pump are you using?
  3. one spoilt still looking for one! petsmart currently doesn't have stock
  4. but i don't think it gives the effect that sps keepers are looking for from potassium. just to quote an sps colour guide,
  5. yeap dosing potassium iodide does not equals to dosing potassium
  6. mandarins should cost around 0.6 to 1.2 red notes. thought sure about the west side though
  7. the shop in front of ah beng in pasir ris. but i'm not sure whether its still there though here C328 - Clementi Florist & Aquarium Polyart
  8. looks really blue! nice but blue whats your bulb combi bro?
  9. market prawn can't wait to see this tank stocked up! just want to ask, will you be running the mp40 at full when stocked as well? if so then the area in the direct wave will be a no coral land
  10. i enter mine with simple rinsing from the tap for awhile i tried gloves but didn't really liked it as my fingers couldn't feel properly with them. you won't know whether the coral you're touching is slime-ming up and thus how long to hold it. say with gloves i would probably end up holding the coral longer than it should be held. small stings from the tank are part and parcel of this hobby. at least we know what to be wary against in the future experience taught me that mini maxi carpets can pack quite a sting!
  11. still quite a bit of sps left at am. there're also 4-5 multibar angels there iwarna has peppermint shrimps in stock at 1.5 red each and 4 reds for 3
  12. looking for something like this? me too ups for you!
  13. yeap the green with return with care. i bought mine from there and now the stem is fully bright green
  14. last frag pending collection thank you for all your interests!
  15. as mentioned above only that particular model from hopar comes with individual reflectors. the most common hopar fixtures don't come with them. all tubes will share the same reflector. ballasts seem to be mostly electronic and are able to last long quite easily. definitely better with ati tubes than other tubes like the stock t5 tubes or other less reliable brands
  16. not sure about eh filtration but i personally stay away from dense bulky rocks. apart from that very very nice rocks! where are these from?
  17. i gauge mine around the colour change. if i had your case i would say the kh is about 9
  18. i haven't had a bad experience with hopar too. there is one fixture for 2 feet that comes with 4 reflectors for 4 tubes with build in timers the shop infront of ahbeng used to carry them for about 13 red notes otherwise you could always mod your set. the fixture is just a container. all that matters is the ballast, wires, and perhaps the stock endcaps if they're reliable. individual reflectors can be bought from many lfs
  19. ahh rusty angel. i went to search Ferragamo angel on google image and i couldn't find a single fish picture in my experience its one of the more hardy angels but will get a larger size compared to other dwarfs. seems to be as reefsafe as other dwarf angels so probably a hit or miss thing. mine didn't touch my corals during the time it was with me before it got too big for comfort
  20. yeap! there's a list of threads on this on RC. many tried and posted their findings there
  21. congrats on your new addition to your family! would love to drop your place again to see your tank i bet there're alot more gems now in there than before
  22. you could check with bro Gouldian he has a reliable water source
