  1. use to keep together: French, Bluering, Blueface, Majestic, Emperor, Koran.... alpha would be the French and most timid is Majestic (probably due to size).. after I sold the French, the Blueface took over until he died due to disease... Bluering also died as he suddenly stopped taking pellets after growing too big preferring only life shrimps (which I hv problem with as I have groupers in the tank too)... now I'm left with Emperor and Koran only...
  2. just to share, when I first started this tank more than 3 yrs ago it looks like this (indoor btw) but most of the smaller fish disappeared as the groupers grew larger...twas my mistake
  3. thanks.... yea I'll try the wavemaker but I need to cover a bit of the ceiling first to prevent too much sunlight
  4. Thanks to all for responding lol... the grouper is plate-size alrite!... but no..not a restauranteur nor a tankmaker :-), strictly a hobbyist, yea its a PB with a datnoid and freshw ray n aro.... I like all kinds of fishes but I'm more into arowanas actually...
  5. as u can see the location of the tank is very exposed to indirect sunlight
  6. I hv no feeding problems as I'm able to feed all with combination of pellets and market prawns... just that I thought of adding more banner fish (I use to have 9) but worried the groupers will kill them. Then again its just a thought... not really a must as I am quite ok with the current stock.... I had the groupers since they were juveniles Another issue is I hv located the tank at quite a brightly lighted area (indirect sunlight) so green algae has grown quite a bit on the rocks and sand.... I can't shift the tank so I could only reduce light exposure by covering the tank top fully... I only switch on the tank lighting for 3 hours every evening (7 to 10) for viewing. Any advice of the algae issue?
  7. Hi, this is what is left of my setup (of more than 3 yrs)... 2 panthers, 3 banners, 1 emperor angel, 1 koran angel, 1 lionfish and 1 domino....
  8. Hi all I hv an extra 3 footer FOWLR housing 2 false perculas and a blue damsel (with yellow tail) only. I intend to add 11 pcs of the blue damsel. Is it workable? I prefer small fishes in shoal/school/group, but something not too costly. I did consider green chromises but not very appealing. TIA.
