Ok guys, I am going to attempt to catch my 3 tangs out. But first I need to know the different methods, tactics and strategies that has been employed by the reefers in this forum and how effective they were in apprehending the offending enemy in our tanks.

Paradiz Reef sells grounding probes for about $30. Bought mine from there.

stray voltage is present in most tanks due to the submersible electrical items like pumps, etc. There are arguments for and against stray voltage affecting livestock, and whether it contributes to head and lateral line disease in fishes. If you are worried, you can always DIY or purchase a ground probe to fix this problem. The ground probe is simply a titanium rod usually, connected to a wire and then wired to the earth pin of a regular 3 pin plug, then plugged into a socket. This effectively grounds your tank and will stop the shock that you receive when you insert your hand into the tank.

tank dimensions: 5x2x2.5ft (regret man, after see boss's and joe_p tank, should have got myself a 3ft wide tank...doh! ) Lighting : 3x250W+2x70W marine blue bulbs to supplement the white of the 10000K BLVs to give it a for lack of a better word, bluer look) and boss, you can come anytime man...bring some frags with you if you want...I will not complain promise...........

WAH, rockwork looks much better..very nice . I think your lights should be raised higher also to reduce the dark spots at the side. Anyway, very nice compared to the last I saw it. When can view again?

I have 3 of those big plastic circular tubs I bought from toyogo for transferring LS and LR purpose. If you want I can lend it to you.

fishes will die due to shipping stress, new environment, etc, etc. So sometimes we can only do as much as we can to try to acclimatise them to our tank. Wat happens after that is sometimes a little hit and miss, like why some angels nip at clams but some dont. We can never tell even if the poor fish was already sick and was going to kick the bucket no matter wat we did.

I have 2 YT and encounter the same problem with one of them. Izzit because it was caught using chemicals....so I heard, dunno true or not? Anyway, mine already 11/2 yrs old, still healthy, just skinny, feed anythng also same size...gave up long time ago to fatten him up.
