Me have that problem. Wasted 1/2 bottle of Seachem reef builder before realising Mg too low so Kh got prob getting up to 10. Added many bottles of tropic marine Mg (i think) over like a month to bring Mg back up to 1300 levels....wasted many $$$...DUMBASS!!

I moved my colony to better light and water flow. white color of base significantly reduced. Mebbe you can try.

me too...have a purple colony that has a white base for a long time already, no tissue recession, AT said maybe slow tissue recession or something like that....AT? any explanation??
