haha.. what did you think we were doing when i asked you for the recipe for mixing cement? initially planned to have different colour of zoas on each rock petal but my zoas collection is growing. guess this is going to be a rojak zoas garden in random colours. in case you want to make frag plugs again, i still have balance cement and sand.

it looks pregnant but doesnt look like a shrimp. looks more like a transparent cockroach. ya...thats wat i thought too.

been curing for 2 weeks plus.. took the rock for a quick dip in main tank to take pics of final effects.

DIY project. in order to create a bigger base and cover the top part so i can put more zoas, i decided that customise rockwork is the only way. step 1 get a plastic container and pour sand. create a flat base step 2 put the rock in and cover the base with concrete and marine sand mix. step 3 brush to create a rough surface. coralline algae will grow easier. the top part is a hole where i will not be able to place anything. so i chose to cover it up to glue zoas frags or place zoas rock in future. step 4 sun for 3 days step 5 the painful curing process - 2 months minimum...

found this very nice rock where i can create my zoas garden. but the stand wasnt very even and definitely wasnt sturdy enough on its own. will topple easily due to the heavy weight on top and narrow base. but it looks good.. so decided to do a little modification in order to create a bigger base.

wasnt too happy with my previous scape and felt the right side too 'heavy' and rocky.. so decided to do some adjustments and shift some sps too. final shots so far..

MAY DAY Rock scape specials. after doing up the left side of tank, decided that i needed more rocks to accomodate more shopping opportunites. Do you think there are too many rocks now? comments appreciated. before and after front view before and after side view

found this crawling in one of my sps. only noticed it after a caught a crab. please advise what this is.. the belly is enlarged and luminous green.

At least your anemone chose a small rock to rest. Mine chose the main rock which is my foundation rock as its permanent home. Somemore at the back of the tank. Nothing I can do about it. Can see cannot reach.

No guarantee but u can try this... Gently take the rock out of the water then back into the water with the anemone upside down) over and over again. The anemone will let go of the rock in approx 5-10 min.

guess where this came from.. haha i got mixed up with the names.. can somebody assist to see if i label the zoas correctly? and zoas #1, #2 and #3 ID please...

do they make a dash towards the rbta when they sense danger? mine do... once they sense danger they dash towars the anemone even if they are away from the RBTA. i used my net to gently guide the clownfish back to the anemone when it strayed initially. took me about 3 days to get him settled.

this video can see both picassos in RBTA stalking the picassos early in the morning... haha
