Thanks! .. i'm actually thinking of changing the pipe to a slightly smaller diameter so that the end cap will be available. May do a full PVC skimmer with a acrylic view window on the side of the body to check bubble intensity for tuning. Will drive ard and see wat i can find.

Hi bigben, i did tot of using that .. but its a "big" pipe for those drainage construction. So i dun think they have the end cap and will be very difficult to find. Hi acontia, Thanks for the info! will try it out.. I'll try to do a log here for the whole DIY process of the skimmer if i really decide to start it. Cheers!

Hi fellow Diyers, I'm thinking of making a spray injector skimmer with big PVC pipe. Then the base i intend to cut Acrylic and stick it to the PVC pipe. But i'm wondering.. wat can stick PVC to Acrylic tightlyand it wouldn't leak? Will Weldon work ? ? if not, wat have u guys used before? Have tried Epoxy before. Dun work that well.

i ever dream of my tank while i still have it in my room. The dream was funny.. i dream the there are unknow corals spawning in the tank .. seem like some alien eggs.. . Then when they hatched.. start eatting my fishes.. after that my tank cracked and leaks.. Just when i started to panic.. i wake up liao!! I quickly rush to check my fish tank... haha

actually.. u dun need LR mah .. most of the Macro Algae comes with rocks. Cheaper also.. some of those ferns on big rocks only $3-5 dollars. if u buy LR, nothing on it... cost more..

Those live rocks with rotten eggs smell is good to start the cycling.. dun need to dose market prawn to start... i started my tank cycling with smelly live rocks...

actually, if u use DE T5s light set .. i think can just place it on ur bracing mah .. dun need to do any other mod.. very straight forward.
