rockfish

i think as long as the anemones are not as agressive as carpet anemone, i think generally they are okay. i have many bubble tip and other anemones in my 4 ft, and i only use PL lights, they are doing very well. they are afraid of strong lights. so t5 is good enuff. carpet anemones will eat ur small fishes. so beware... but clown fish are okay ..

why not..? as long as u monitor them properly... i have 10 anemones in my 4 ft with my other corals.. some with me for almost 1 yr now .. as thet are mobile, that means .. if they get sting, they will noe how to run away, not like corals, cannot move ..

i used to have 2. paired up after fight for a week after i put them together. like u said, eats all the time. both grown up to 1.5 inch then. then while one of them is molting, 1 anemone died and polluted the water. 1 month later, same incident happen... lost my other... they were so cute...

(whisper) Wat is LPS? then he say again:" Oh! since u have corals then u must install a chiller. its a must!" i replied: " dun need .. i have a small small fan... enuff for my 4ft." he trys again:" then wat light u use? why not use MH..?? i replied:" i use PL lights, MH will boils my water" he added: "then u Must use chiller lor"! i replied:" then u would have met ur objective rite..?" And i just walk out while he continues to bullshit.... (IMO, PL is as good if u have a shallow tank. my is only 1.5ft high. Fan is as good if the location of the tank is not hot. my is outside the house in a well shaded corner with lots of ventilation. Temperature in the noon without fan is bout 29. with fan 27) those fellow just wanna grip some quick bucks. and they know nuts bout reefing... strangely, they dun feel embrassed when they are bullshitting and ppls just shot they down ... (maybe brains aren't quick enuff to realised that ppls are "swaning" them.) well since we got bros here that suffer under their torment, we should warn ppls bout them .. and help those in despair...

hey bro blueheaven, i got a question to ask u .. since u seems quite successful in fraging.. i tried fraggin one of the common green yumas, although it recovered. but the colour of the frag bleached... is that a common problem for u .. ??

hey bro! heard from someone that certain butterfly main diet is atapsia. so they will eat all the atapsia first and not bother about the corals.... but after they finish all the atapsia.. "coral here we come!" unless u can take them out immediatly after they finish the atapsia .. if not .. no chance ..

u can add something like wat all the others are saying. can definately reduce noise. drilling a hole does solve the problem .. u might end up with more noise... i have draw something that u might be able to use. that a look.

if u want a cheaper solution, use styrofoam, cut a hole just enuff for the pipe to g thru, then the rest can cover the top of sump.. bubbles are good actually, to increase the oxidation of the water ... making the water fill with more oxygen.

Hi bro!! IMO, dun ever try the PH solution... u wun noe wat effect it will have on it. BTW, is the foot exposed .. ?? or hidden in some holes. if it is easily reached .. then u can try to see if there is any area where it did not grip on to the rock( some hole betw the foot and the rock) then try to start taking it out from there .. i always use my little finger to start at area like that .. when u "tickle" the anemone at the base .. it will slime more .. casusing it to not hold on the rocks that well ..
