  1. Thanks James for your input, now im collecting info, as to which wood material should i be using for my upcoming project
  2. Hey dude! Nice meeting you over at your place last weekend. Great tank with lotsa jewels! Just my personal opinion, you need a rescape, your rocks are too close forward, and hence, will create some wave-less zone in the middle, that would be the reason to the bleaching SPS. Would love to help if you need one. Looking forward to visit you again. Ten
  3. Hi James, thanks and noted. Are you saying that safety wise, kapor woods are less than 8 yrs of durability? And even chengal material can last only 10 years?
  4. Hi all senior experienced bro/sis, please share your experience of the above 3 difference material for Marine Tank Setup.. From my research so far, Chengai is the more popular wood compared to the others. However, the cost can be quite significantly higher as well. Please share your experience/knowledge/thoughts. Cheers! Ten
  5. nice! Even with no chiller, can see some growth in your SPS. Great job! Any additive dosage? Whats the routine?
  6. hahaha i will try that next time. hahaha
  7. A great bulldozer indeed. Mine loves keeping zoas to protect against the T5 lights. Upz for your sales.
  8. no Prob dude. The tank Maker can do any design, so long as you pay for it. Its all up to you, on what kinda system you want your tank to be. If you go for barebottom, having an under IOS can be good. If you prefer ecosystem setup, consider carefully with regards to the space issue.
  9. Yea Peace, you are right. shouldnt have even though about jumping the gun! Yup already added probatic. My Co was asking why is the market prawn red....i told her bateria added, have been feasting on it...she replied, so the prawns we ate were filled with bateria?....i was dumbfolded. arent she cute? hahaha
  10. As mentioned in my message to you, Tank Maker - YongHua. Nope, i am pretty happy with the size. no need to improve further for a simple tank.
  11. Guys, im shifting my office tank very soon. Currently cycling a 24G tank at home so that i can tsf the corals over. Thinking of expediting the progress. Without adding fishes, possible for the trsf of LPS into the newly cycled tank, without causing any damages to them? Is this possible?
  12. No prob dude. My tank have 3 compartments. i: Display ii: return pump + skimmer iii: Filter wool / life rocks / bio-home HTH
  13. I just found a snail without shell in my tank yesterday... Is it possible for turbo snails to move with a shell? Any1 have any idea?
  14. This is real beauty under blue T5. Upz for your sales!
  15. Dory is like that. Love to hid and rest in awkward position. Your ph level is too low, you need to increase your kh dose.
  16. Take note, hiding your pump/skimmer inside the tank, will eventually create a lot of heat. your Ice-prode might/might not work, you need a chiller if you want coral set-up. Trust me, the temp can shoot up to 30 during longweekend in my office. However, i had a fan running 24/7. This will however create evaporation problem. You will need a chiller.
  17. getting a predator introduced into your tank will be the best method to solve your nudis prob. IMO Yellow wrasse arent aggressive at all. Hence, why do u need to get it out later? Coral RX is a short term problem solving method. this can save a colony of Zoas, but in long term, introducing predator will be best. As the saying goes, once u find one nudis, there's plentiful more inside.
  18. Guys, dont buy Cleaner Wrasse, the removal of this specis from its env means an increase of the nusiance they normally feed on!

all other cleaner wrasse species excluding the common blusestreak cleaner is 0/10 in terms of sustainability and should not be bought

Thats something i read somewhere...lets work together to save our marine enviroment!

  19. single? with tat big bed u gt? wow! welldone sir!!
  20. Bro, you got to keep the algae smell down to the minimum! Else, CO will pull your ear
  21. Yeah, Nudis are quite a nusiance...they will make your hand wet... (Sticking down into the water to remove the colony that infest with nudis...) However, do not touch your corals all the time. Fix them to a place with good flow/lights/height, then observe how they grow and propogate!! I went reservist for 2+1/2 weeks. Came back office, saw a great deal of difference... most of my zoas propogated!
  22. Bro, Words of caution for you. Once u see one, do expect more inside your tank. Get a predator to hunt them down. E.g. Yellow Wrasse. Do observe your zoas colony, and if u find moving 'zoas', its them, the NUDIS, that takes the color of your zoas they had eaten! Coral RX the colony. Good luck.
  23. upz for your sales bro! as well as for good quality product!
