have a quick question. will it be better to put a 2-3 inch sand bed at the 2nd compartment from the left, meaning, the water from the most left compartment will flow through the sandbed then overflow to the next compartment. 1) is it good filtering like this? 2) will it jam the whole water flow system attached is the picture

Decomm my 4feet as upgraded. Might want to let this go. Using it for my 4x1.5x1.5 [and with sump 4x1.5x1.5] Total fishes inside approximately around 14 tangs [ 6 yellow,2 x sailfin, 1 unicorn, 1 blue, 1 brown, 3 purple] and regal + koran and a few more fishes. Migrated too a 3.5 feet tub and it's enough to skim and produce oxygen for all this fishes. [poo machine ] below attached are the pictures. Brought price for this is $600. selling = $400 Comes with Rio pump 20. Note: need to connect a air pump to it, am using hiblow baby and it's skimming like bull [able to use in-sump / outsump] but RIO 20 PUMP MUST BE INSIDE THE WATER] Height around 69 cm. diameter around 9cm.

Hello All, Currently in the midst of cycling the tank. Have added live rocks in the display tank, however... will add more live rock to the most left compartment as seen in the picture below. Any idea what more can i put to really filter my water? Will add seachem seagel most likely in the egg crate in the middle compartment, and UV light.

i think coralife salt is ok for me.after pouring into a container and stirring it,10 min it's quite clear already,normally will let a wavemaker "stir" and few hours later,it's clear as tap water.. sad that there's no more coralife salt :'(.. any recommendation for salt that is average and price/weight is same as coralife? [ 20+ kg for $65 haha]

noticed that the fishes below the "rank" have been changed to blue box. after you post this, it's being replaced back to fishes. and there's no avatar for everyone currently.. think mod is doing some changes.

i got 6 yellow tang with me in my tank.. lol, not really if they got enough swimming places. got once they fight 1 got a 20cent size wound (like skin kena abrasion), after a while it healed back and it's fighting fit again.
