bro, last time.. i tot the same as you, *mine is fowlr*.. it relies on skimmer alot as it produced oxygen, after 1 week of turning off at night. 1 yellow tang that had been with me for months just died out of no reason.. after that i skipped the idea of offing the skimmer at night.. turning it on 24 hours, no casaulty after that.. (wavemaker was on) just sharing what i exp before

how come should off skimmer to take out carbon? carbon can be change monthly (depends on the brand you buy / kiasuness).. for me i will change it 2-3 months.. putting in the brand new (washed) and then few days later taking the exsisting one out.. any bros can chip in your opinion?
