sometimes there's coraline algae / or unwanted algae on the wavemaker. What you can do is buy those normal cooking vinegar, mixed with water (i used 1/5 of it for a small pail filled with water). put the wavemaker inside the mixed vinegar + water pail. leave it to soak for 1 day - the smell is after 1 day of soaking, rinse it with tap water and scrub it with tooth brush/brush, it will come off quite easily. hth

aquabee alot of users said it loses head power compare to eheim rio to go if budget but want to have a good pump been using aquabee 3000 the difference is alot compared to resun pump for a 4 feet tank eheim 1262 i used for my 5 feet tank ,pumping from bottom tank to display tank with alot of bend and putting it external also gives a good flow to pump water in. all the 3 above pump is good dont buy resun, HOT and waste electricity + less flow

you can add dead rocks, dose bacteria and cycle it. if you want coraline algae (to make your tank looks nicer), prepare to substain the calcium + magnesium + KH i think (like that you can get corals in your FOWLR *with chiller*). or you can buy arctificial rocks from Golden Octopus to decorate it

rio is good, after eheim i choose rio. used rio20uf for skimmer pump and it works like a bull most important, it's much cheaper too (compare to eheim)
