If you have a sump, you can run display tank water -> sump -> Filter socks from Aqua Fanua -> live rocks (1st compartment) -> carbon -> biohome (2nd compartment) -> chaeto -> skimmer -> main pump to display tank. If you are not using a sump, you can use external canister with biohome and filter wool / carbon and use a hang on skimmer e.g: http://freshnmarine.com.sg/estore/index.php?cPath=61_307 or http://freshnmarine.com.sg/estore/index.php?cPath=61_307 depending on your budget (or look for 2nd hand in pasar malam in SRC which is cheaper and item still can be in use). hth

If you transfer all the live rocks, then the existing tank will crashed if you don’t have enough bacteria to break down ammonia... (Unless you got many biohome/bacteria house) so back to square one... why not wait 1 month + for the bacteria to cultivate and enjoy in the long run then putting all livestock together one shot and let it die 1 by one (not saying it definitely will, but the possibility is higher) this is what i think,suggestion to you and HTH

Hi, if you have the time and place, setup the 4feet tank at the place you desire and scrape / salt mix / put all the sand you want / dose bacteria and start cultivate bacteria. Do the cycling test (ammonia -> nitrite -> nitrate) test and once completed the cycle. Can move your live stock slowly over. You can add the existing 3 feet rocks over to make it more stable. ------------- if you have no space and no time, transferring all over at one shot might leads to casualty. Go slow and steady with bacteria dosing will be one step you wont regret
