  1. but you have stated the source of it, so should not be an issue.. lets share more around SRC~
  2. to Dr Ang.... so generous and kind!!! years later that area will be filled with corals from your house tank! (hopefully those officials do know the condition of the place before putting it there haha)
  3. waters so clean and nice that they can just put those inside their tank, wonder whether is it legal even in aust to bring back live species directly to their home... nice to see this pic! thanks for sharing
  4. Refugium can be simple as one pl light shining on algae (most common and effective will be chaeto). thick sand bed never try before, must ask more bros opinion / exp here! but you can do without it since you already have a algae scrubber
  5. warm i could say bro.. not really those hot hot...
  6. yup, i ran my eheim 1262 outsump
  7. yes, provided the size of the scrubber is suitable for your tank. Also you needs to wipe of the algae diligently else dead algae (without light that is covered by the fresh algae will die off and let nutrients flows back to your tank)
  8. bro what i would suggest. 1) Change 20% - 50% of your water 2) Change your Carbon soonest 3) Run the wavemaker / skimmer. 4) Siphon all the dirt out if possible. Observe the corals for tomorrow and hope all will be good for you.
  9. pm me condition/how long it have been use and price. Will self collect thanks!
  10. super nice and solid setup (looks like those shopping centre / aquarium tank!) reefers whom knows how to take care of SPS is , all the colouration / combi is awesome!
  11. Yea. -No Fish for 1 - 1.5 month after the ich cycle ( i think, do read up more on the ich cycle to let it slowly disappear from your tank)\ -No re-scaping after the fish is added inside. -No flooding of fish and follow the cycle of gentle fish to aggressive fish on your livestock list (if possible hehe) People do err and you will be more exp next time!
  12. i dont think it will work for the reef tank, as reef tank does need calcium / kh / mg for it to make corals happy, those high nutrient from fowlr will not work for it, but for the fowlr, yes it's still ok and will work.... do correct me if i am wrong
  13. those are paly (Bigger polyps of Zoanthids) corals. those corals would not affect anything but if you have angels, it might pull them out if they feels like it (bigger mouth have higher chances haha) can leave it and they will grow else if you dont like it cos it's not that nice, you can swap with another reefer with rocks
  14. nvm think they over stressed by the re-scape, try to off the lights then feed in blue light in evening after oning the blue lights for half hour (not to feed them straight after on the lights)
  15. Leave it and flood with food! no more scaping for 2 weeks..
  16. top left looks abit like "sunflower zoas"
  17. dose ca/kh/mg more frequently like everyday to increase it
  18. Attached pic for mobile phone users easier reference.
  19. what i notice is a re-scape normally works (am commenting for FOWLR tank) haha.. cos with corals it's harder to re-scape. nice fishes bro solo have! so many wrasse and angels.. *envy*!!
  20. if you want coraline algae, low phosphate and dosing of ca/mg/kh must be good with lightings... coraline algae will boomz..
