Selling an almost brand new Bubble Magus C9, just purchased first week of June. Still working perfectly in my sump now. Changing skimmers due to space issues only as I'm thinking of getting a smaller footprint skimmer and a new FR for Rowa, otherwise wouldn't be switching. Only $200. Collection at my place near IKEA Redhill, or mutually convenient place may be arranged if an agreement can be reached.

If my golden angel has started developing a taste for open brains, but has left other LPS alone, what are the odds he will expand his tastes to other LPS after I remove the open brains? My concern is mainly the Euphyllia sp. corals like bubbles, frogspawn etc.

I'm facing a problem now. My golden angel has been caught pecking on 2 of my 3 open brains, and they are starting to show their skeleton. I don't think they will make it. This is very unfortunate as I had just gotten rid of my SPS frags in this tank and decided for this tank to be primarily an LPS tank with a few NPS and soft corals. My wife loves the golden, so it has to stay even if I manage to catch it. So far, the golden angel hasn't picked on any of the Euphyllia sp. LPS like the torch, hammers, frogspawn etc. It hasn't harassed the super suns either. Do you think it will be fine for me to continue my LPS tank without the corals like brains, prata, cynarina, plate etc.? Or would I need to relocate and save all my other LPS asap and switch to SPS instead? According to LemonLemon's article, SPS are OK even with a little harassing from angels and butterflies. The Potteri angel has been a model citizen though.

Aren't snowflakes supposed to be of the pebble tooth moray family and supposed to be both fish safe and coral safe, but not invertebrate safe? That's what I've read as well as heard from friends who have kept them.

I like your livestock bro! Flame hawk very cute and the flasher wrasse will add a lot of life to the tank! I got 2 yellow fin flasher wrasses from Pinnacle and am loving them. They used to be very timid but after a week they're bold enough to steal food from my lionfish

My wife using bm curve 7 for her 322, works perfectly. I'm using bm c9 for my 422. Had some issues at first tuning it but it looks OK now. If I were to upgrade I'd go for skimz 201.

Has anyone used the relatively new All in One Biopellets for some time? It's supposed to be biopellets with phosphate remover baked in, so it has enhanced phosphate removal capabilities. However, to my knowledge, phosphate remover doesn't degrade the same way that biopellets do - phosphate remover gets exhausted and then has to be replaced. Hence, how does this new biopellet work? When the biopellet degrades, does the phosphate remover get sloughed off as dust particles into the tank? When the phosphate remover is exhausted, how does it get removed from the tank? Really curious on the theory behind this new product.
