  1. Really? There was a rusty flame posted ago that looks abit like this. But on second look it does look like a flame x coral beauty. Even rarer is its a hybrid with Philippine flame as opposed to the Pacific ones. Philippine flame more orange that's why this hybrid is so orange? Perhaps
  2. look more like flame x rusty. but a very nice piece. flame x coral beauty more purplish/red darker in colour
  3. this one caught my eye more! a gorgeous xanthotis angel!
  4. crazy! flame angels is one of my favourite fish! i'll never grow bored of seeing it ever. every hawaii shipment i'll be so happy looking at all of them.
  5. i know. but purple tangs, golden butterflies, sohal tangs will forever be staples in the hobby. every reefer only want purple tang and sohal tang. they're so common and everyday we have people in the lfs update thread looking for these fishes. it is with hope that one day pauci and xanthotis will appear in our market.
  6. no idea man. i want my paucifasciatus again. my previous pair died and it's so hard to obtain them now. xanthotis i also want but it's never a priority!
  7. i don't know if i'm allowed to post such videos. if it's not allowed, mods kindly remove it thanks!
  8. i'm not sure if many of you have seen this video. but it's circulating around facebook so i think some may have seen it. i mean i'm just in a state of shock and disbelief after watching this. my heart sank and i'm just speechless now.
  9. amazing and unbelievable! RCT has managed to breed the crosshatch triggerfish. but it is experimental and not going to be offered for sale!
  10. CF - potter's angel - flame angels - ventralis anthias (male and female) - yasha gobies - multibar angels - hybrid black tang (small size) - male blue box fish 3 pieces - extremely small sized powder blue tangs. i've never seen them so small before! 2 inch! limited pieces and the rest are rather normal stuff
  11. a v pretty and unobtainable thalassoma moon wrasse from ASI. endemic to that area too.
  12. a female feminine wrasse below. and a very rarely seen male one above.
  13. possibly the rarest and most unobtainable and the most BEAUTIFUL razor wrasse in my opinion. Xyrichtys sanctaehelenae you can tell from the name that it's a st. helena and ASI endemic fish that will never see the light of day in the aquarium trade. even if people ever go there, they will only collect the super sought after resplendent angels and st helena butterfly and probably won't give this wrasse a second look! look at the gorgeous yellow colour! it's like a yellow tang with a razor wrasse shape. and the silver belly is such a gorgeous contrast.
  14. v beautiful razor wrasse. not sure of the ID. possibly a full grown adult Xyrichtys novacula
  15. how many resplendent angels can you spot in these pictures? so abundant in the wild. there are probably hundreds of them in some areas. photos all by peter schmeidel and posted before here.
  16. xanthotis is common in hK? ok when i go there the next time i'll search for it. Digi, the soundtrack for those videos are horrible! LOL. the rarest fish is probably the emperor hybrid.
