i have 4 torch corals in my tank. not difficult to keep not easy too. they need good flow but not too strong. strong laminar flow will kill them. random flow is best. medium to good lights and they do require supplementory feedings. this is the hard part as most torch corals in captivity do not respond to food. the food will stick to the tentacles but float away later.

wilson what ever ur decision i will suppport u all the way. but just be sure tht this is what u want (: softies only tank can be dam nice what with all the yumas, mush, rics, GSP, CLOVES, XENIAS!, leathers, anthellias, gorgonians, the list is endless! and the maintenance is much easier. HECK CONVERT ME! lol

why u put back the rock into the tank? are there any mushies on that rock? if its just an emty rock with nothing i would just throw away unless thre are other frags on it. if you have any furan around ur house (high doubt that), a furan dip will be fantastic. kills all germs and bacteria imediately. if u dun hav furan, an iodine dip may help. but i will not suggest doing anything to ur mushy frags unless u see them starting to melt. dun stress them out furthur. becoz there is a chance that they might not even be infected at all. dun fix an unbroken pipe (:

sch start 20th april and the target feeding thing. ya. my suns i haven feed for 2 weeks liao. its's last meal was an aiptasia i scraped off my rock. flew into the sun's tentacles. lol. ahould feed it tomorrow....before it dies

kole eyes are ctenochaetus genus. bristle tooth tang. eating algae is all they do in the wild (: u hired a specialist. good one! back to threadstarter. for diatoms, i think snails are still the best. my turbo snails ate all my diatoms haha!

right side of my tank. look at the mess -__- its like a pile of rocks there. the mushy frag is for wilson. wilson u ordered it right? if ur reading this, the frag is waiting for u! as u can see, 2 big polyps.

the elegance from fragmaster. pics all taken around 10 mins ago. so the corals obviously are not opening up. and all still abit stressed from the moving around re-positioning.
