nope. they dun carry fish disease, but may carry other disease that infect other shrimps. this is exeedingly rare though. i would just acclimate them and add them in. no need for QT

definately clown tang. although achilles tang also hard to feed, i find it more hardy than clown tangs. clown tangs are just difficult-er (if there is such a word)...tried one last time and it died.
