  1. some zoas from yesterday's shipment at iwarna. fragged some for myself and shared the rest with other reefers. 1 more frag behind but cant photo it since its hidden by the xenia
  2. hi digiman! yeah most of my friend's rhomboids didnt make it too i loved mine. he died on me how sad. yea its very costly too. thanks. hmm.. not sure if my tank is up to standard yet, but i have to agree with you choati v nice hehe
  3. hi thanks. there are many babies underneath, but not fragging them as i have epoxied the main rock there.
  4. yep yep. glad someone noticed haha. so far, collection consists of - Paracheilinus Lineopunctatus. ( sorry i dunno the common name for this. but looking at the latin name.. lineo and punctatus, i'm thinking line-dot flasher wrasse?) - Yellow wrasse -.- - choati leopard - splendid leopard - exquisite wrasse - flame wrasse unfortunately, the rhomboid did not make it so far this shipment rhomboid....most of them didnt make it. t.t
  5. yah the choati v beautiful. expensive taste though! prefer's market prawns to mysis here's a FTS. never update FTS in awhile. still the same as usual. overflow box still exposed..... thinking of live-rocking up thate area. but there will be some concerns if i do. no 1) no space for betta box no 2) the brain corals on the sand below the overflow will be homeless i actually kinda like that exposed area. some of my fishes like hanging out there as there is open space for them to swim. and my mandarin gets to eat pellets there as they settle down at the sand bed there. so i'm likely to leave it like this for now.
  6. hmmmm.... copperbands are difficult fishes to feed. although some reefers including me have success with them, the vast majority of them don't feed well. unless u can get 1 that is feeding on prepared foods, i won't reccomend this. also be aware that not every copperband will take aiptasias.
  7. happy to help? hope that helps? i prefer the first 1 lah. sounds nicer and same acronym oso hehe
  8. definately not a zoanthid. tentacles looks like it belongs to the majano anemone. remove it. a clearer pic will confirm the ID
  9. most LPS have feeder tentacles to catch sizeable meaty foods from the water cloumn. think about it this way. LPS utilize much of their ability to have strong stinging tentacles, and powerful prey capture ability. this leads u to think that they are likely to catch and stun sizeable prey in the wild. such good examples will be mysis and other small meaty creatures. liquid food simply have little to no effect on LPS. i strongly reccomend feeding mysis to LPS..... many reefers use prawn meat which may be detrimental in the long run if overfed. mysis once a week is more then enough. squirt a small portion onto the feeder tentacles and watch them go. prawn meat is too dense with long protein structures making it harder to digest unless you feed sparingly, and in small portions. HTH
  10. alot pf pinkish ones. have other colours like green too. plenty left there.
  11. iwarna's shipment - alpha male dispar - assorted indo fishes and wrasses corals - zoas - plenty of white pom pom xenias. this batch is quite healthy, so those intending to get, go for it. - cauliflowers - cloves - some LPS. hammer, torch etc. - sponges
  12. swimming about on next day of introduction. first time see leopard wrasses emerge so early. feeding on frozen too! left pectoral fin slightly damage. shorter than the other one heal faster please
  13. false alarm bah haha. they never did spawn. just being annoying and digging up holes in my sand.
  14. yea. scottorum, laboutei, lineatus all missing in action this shipment.
  15. see pictures only. yeah its super beautiful. i love the colour. and the design!
  16. not as easy as the other centropyge species. will feel more comfortable and likely to feed if you have more liverocks to make it feel at home. you can try live brine or frozen mysis to see if it responds.
