all ORA fishes are tank bred, means they have been raised from eggs and are all fed with prepared food... feeding is no issue.

nope. they can adopt this colouration if they want to. actually they are rather dull when they decide not to display the blue stripes. But this is still something right on the top of my wish list.

P. attenuatus. Male. Currently no pictures of P.attenuatus females on the internet, not that i know of. The diamond tail is very nice something that i've been looking for, for very very long time

indonesian pipe organs have polyps that look like xenia. Only those from deeper water fiji have thicker petals, resembling flowers. the normal pipe organs are always thin petaled- xenia like. Fiji ones are rarer, more ex, and more beautiful.

different. xenias are soft corals that grows on stalks and have 5 tentacled polyps attached to the central stalk. Pipe organs are soft corals that grow in a colony, with each polyp growing inside a little calcerous tube, side by side each other. Although pipe organs have brittle calcarous skeleon, they are considered soft corals because their "skeleton" is very wear as compared to the hard calcium carbonate skeletons of LPS many corals have 5 tentacled polyps that look like xenias. hence many reefers confuse xenia, anthelia, pipe organ, cloves, etc etc.

this IS a hoax. It's out in the papers already. The newspaper interviewed the company and the boss said there's no such thing happening. I guess humans are really sick to think of something like this, but one thing is for sure, thank god no dogs are left abandoned. thanks bros. ok, will consider using salt mix for water changes. But for my virgin drop of saltwater, will just use NSW. too bloody ex to fill up a 183gallon tank + sump with salt mix.

thanks everyone for comments, have decided to go for 1.5HP (? not sure, but there abouts) compressor, 2nd hand from reefer. all in all it will definitely be way cheaper than getting a new 1/3HP chiller which will not even cut it. need a new coil and some drilling in the walls first though. Thanks for the concern david, my home electrical bills are actually very high now. way above normal because of my consistent air conS usage with the new tank, definitely have to forgo my aircon especially when sleeping at night.

duncans are extremely hardy. give them good lighting, medium is fine. water movement medium too. don't blast them. but give them ample flow. feed them regularly with mysis if you want, about once or twice a week. they split like mad if given good conditions and can grow to twice the amount of heads in just a few months.

i was thinking that the 1/3 might be abit too weak. wanted a condenser but the piping will be hell from the patio to the tank! not to mention the amount of pipes running around everywhere... my tank is quite a distance away from the patio.

chiller, skimmer and the two returns i guess. the rest not yet. no rush lah. settle the important things first hehe
