Hi bro CFOH, Where did you find this picture from? It is a photo of my old flame angel pair. Male and females r not differentiated by number of bars In fact I deliberately chose this female with less bars to pair with a male with many bars as I thought it would make for an interesting pair. Females have a rounder ana| fin and the blue edging in less pronounced. Compare it with the male which has a bigger n more pointed ana| fin Blue edging also more extensive. Stripes for flame angels r v variable and cannot be used to determine gender. Some have no bars at all. Cheers

I've tried a small group (1 male 3 female) in a mixed reef. No problems. Hit or miss but in general, flames are very safe.

Flame is very safe. The worst dwarfs to keep in reefs are the eibli complex which are - vroliki, flavissima and eibli. Your lemonpeel belongs here.

beautiful and gorgeous Diamond tail flasher wrasse (Paracheilinus attenuatus). it regularly makes an appearance in small numbers via african shipments in the U.S. however we never get these in any of our african shipments.

an amazing fish. From Greenwich aquaria. It looks like a highly aberrated Pseudojuloides severnsi, but it was collected from Kenya where P. severnsi is not found. it is likely to be a new species.

It is from coral island. Not sure if its a shop or private collector? But they seem to be able to get them

Its semifasciatus season again and as usual, RVS is flooding the market with dozens of them. males are beautiful. Full growm watanabes are more common but also nice.

deborah angel is just like its sister species, C. nox. very dull and black looking in normal lights. it is navy blue under proper lightings and at certain angles can appear very blue. but it is shy and not popular with reefers. i would get one if there was ever a 2 inch baby.
