  1. no offence, but it looks like a bleached red people eater to me..
  2. you found those at the beach!?!?!? holy cow dude those are really nice for wild zoas!
  3. yes i've heard of this form of nutrient export. not sure how effective it is though. macroalgae will be much useful.
  4. forget about getting this. it's extremely aggressive. yellow fish can consider getting a small yellow wrasse (Halichoeres chrysus).
  5. my nasarius snails are laying so much eggs on the glass -.-

haha cedric. i think u go CF buy 1 for $2 better bah HAHA. i dunno how to raise snails... but if succeed u can have all for free!

  6. yup. they can tolerate flow but i feel xenias look nicer in soft gentle currents with very little movement. just adjusted my wavemakers to remove a dead spot but the spot where the xenias were in, became too strong... so i had to move them can't find a nice place to put them
  7. yes. pulses very strongly. xenias pulse faster in lower flow, and slower to non pulsing in higher flows.
  8. yes you can mix them together. do note that rhomboids are very peaceful, while lineatus are quite boisterous when big and acclimated to the tank. preferably to mix them in a 3ft tank and above. occasional chasing and flashing but remove them when it gets too terrible until one of them hides and do not dare to come out. once a fairy wrasse hides from aggression, it is difficult to let them regain confidence enough to come out of hiding. and a hood is mandatory, lest you want to come home to a crispy wrasse on your floor.
  9. that's the problem with sensitive angels like golden, colini, venustus, multibar, rock beauty and bandit. they respond very poorly to treatment and will go on a feeding strike during this period. The bad news is, you will need to re-train it to feed all over again even after removing them from the medication. these are very delicate fishes and you cannot stress them too long by treating them. these fish are usually not given QT treatment because they cannot stand being in bare tanks with medication. the best form of treatment for these fishes are hyposalinity. it's the least stressful for them and they will still continue feeding. but hyposalinity is not a good treatment method for non-feeding classes of sensitive angels. liverock and macroalgae cannot be offered during hypo and being in a bare tank, they will slowly starve. that's why these fishes are so tricky. i wish you all the best!
  10. only the browner one i can frag. the white one is one big stalk with 3 smaller stalk. if i frag then no more liao.
  11. i only saw this 1 time. alot of them but i didn't buy. this 2 are from fuel. he went CF and found some then i got 2 from him.. hope my marginalis doesn't eat it in future. my marginalis tried eating clownfish before.
  12. dun thnk so. the legs not stripey? i dunno kinda forgot.
  13. it's morphing... when i got it, the eye still had some black. now it's totally reduced to just a spot on the forehead. but the overall appearance still look super female and the body is still very white. let's hope the morphing stops there otherwise i will be forced to sell it
  14. i've not seen them here. only seen the normal leucs. CF is the only LFS that bring leucs in
  15. was it really eating your coral..?
  16. thalassoma rueppellii. endemic to the red sea. time to start hunting. it's gorgeous
  17. for an unobtaiable genicanthus, it's not as nice as the others. thank goodness semifasciatus is not unobtainable unlike takeuchii
  18. i want the very rare red tail Chrysiptera cyanea. david saxby has a pair.
  19. my two colony of fiji white xenias. the first one has been with me for very long, with me even since before my old tank decom. since reborn's debut fiji shipment. it's a strong pulser but the colour has faded gradually from white, to peach, to pink, and now relatively brown. the second photo shows another colony from iwarna's previous walt smith's shipment. it's a very strong pulser, stronger than the first one. and the colour has remained white up till now. hopefully the colour will stay white and not fade to brown. so far i've tried them many times, and they always fade from white to brown over a few months. sorry keep posting photos of the same few things. at this point nothing much to show hehe
  20. added a pair of leander plumosus shrimp so unusual and cute... with the mega long rostrum.
