another hybrid

the picture says it all. OH MY GOD!

very gorgeous filefish from the waters of thailand, andaman sea. undescribed, new species! it looks like a clown triggerfish that will never grow big! I WANT! from my friend ohm pavaphon.

the baby frembliis are killing me.

this clown is a wildcaught ocellaris found at coral farm. it was mixed with the regular clowns and sold at regular clown price. the white extends to the belly and joins the other side of the body. the dorsal fin is pure white. digiman spotted it swimming together with tons of other common clowns. the fish was given to my thai friend, and is with him now.

rare does not always mean expensive. the above 2 damsels are one of the most uncommon in Singapore. although common in other parts of the world. they are peaceful and will brighten up any reef tank. and they are cheap!

i also bought 2 of these very beautiful and rare damsels from M3MORPH. it's the "springeri" damsel. the black and electric sapphire blue mottled appearance is super unique and very beautiful. M3 still have 2 for $6 each. i don't have photos of my own. hard to photograph, but these are from the net.

My new favourite fish! I've been waiting donkey long time for this. it's the tuxedo damselfish, aka Chrysiptera tricincta! Singapore's first debut appearance for the fish. i fell in love with it the first time i saw it in david saxby's tank. for those who say it's a $3 damsel....well....pity. it's extroadinarily beautiful and peaceful. the fins are elegant and an overall very rare and gorgeous fish. M3MORPH still have somemore for sale at $23 each.

M3MORPH has some very rare fishes in stock now. - 2 "springeri" damsels - 2 juvenile sedentarius butterflyfishes. - many roseafascia fairy wrasses (females and sub males) - 3 very good size and good priced swissguard basslet - one juvenile jack knife fish - a few pieces of the very beautiful tuxedo damselfish. other fishes are less interesting.

i want the genicanthus hybrid more than that earlei.

another amazing photo of my friend's genicanthus hybrid. some think it's a melanospilos x bellus, but some say melanospilos x semifasciatus. and i just realised my HK friend is a he, not a she. lol. this fish was obtained in very pooor health. floating at the surface. but after acclimation and feeding, it's super healthy now thank god. u guess the price? ridiculously cheap at HKD 220!

likewat jake adam said. rusty flame is sooo common in the US now. i ask him about rusty flame and he rolled his eyes. "they are sooooooooooo common. sometimes when you order a regular rusty angel, they give you rusty flame instead" wth!

as long as there's multicolor blood in it, it instantly makes it UBER RARE. multicolor hybrids are like, unheard of! only the cb x multi

it's a multicolor x rusty. multicolor range extends till philippines too apparently!?

it's a nocturnal or full moon goby. coral farm, irene have time to time. seasonal and rare. but cheap.

not rare, but very uncommon. and only come in a few pieces at a time.
