this species is quite rare.
the females are available from time to time but males are quite rare.
but they are extremely difficult to keep alive. they are probably one of the hardest species of tamarin wrasses in the genus anampses and almost always arrive in horrible conditions. and males have a survivability rate of almost 0%.
from all RC accounts, they either do not feed or they die from other shipping related injuries.
the females do much better than the males and you can keep a group of them, and hopefully one will morph into a male.
