both also can. usually those iodine suppliment will contain both. its just different ionic form of iodine. iodine is I2, iodide is I- becareful with dosing. overdose will lead to algae bloom. follow the instructions nice blueish looking zoos.

i have "frags" of my pinkish looking zoos that i bought today. One frag has 2 polyps while the other frag has 3 polyps. they were loose and i just broke them off the main colony. Now they are just hanging around on a rock waiting for someone to collect them. U might need to glue them to a bigger rock as they are currently attatched to a very small piece of rock. It is only 2 polyps ...the other one has only THREE polyps. very miserable if u ask me.... i dunno who to give it to..those who want it just post here bah....i will decide who to give it to if u wondering what the polyps look like when they are opened, its the pinkish one i bought from GO today. i already posted the picture

wow interesting. never see those before. only see nudis and sundial snail. today saw my zoo, one of the polyps kena eaten abit. i think its my coral beauty....recently acting very suspicious around my zoos. dun think its pests. i checked thuroughly nothing...

btw, there got 2 shops selling marine fish. one is a dam old dark run down place selling almost nothing, and the other one is sell the bubble one. sell bubble coral one is the one with a very long tank with alot of fish inside. dun have smaller separate tanks.

dunno if still got. saw it once only quite sometime back. but i always find it there somehow...haha np.

usually same species of corals can touch each other without much conflict. rhodactics can touch other rhodactics, yumas to yumas, euphyllias to euphyllias, cataphyllia to cataphyllia... etc etc etc. the only problem is, the parts that are touching each other may limit the growth due to space competition or like vt snowman mentioned, hading of the bigger and more dominant one. hope this helps u This can help u maximise space in ur tank also. all ur zoos for example, can be put near each other to make a niec bunch all euphyllias(hammer, torch, frogspawn) can be placed near each other without much problem. when they grow too big, just shift around a little

Hi, looking for frags of zoos, anywhere from 10-20 polyps. dont want those too smallish ones. Looking for colours like green,pink,blue,orange,red..any nice colours. dun really want those brown types. if you are looking for those common purple and brown mushrooms, they are found nearly everywhere and at very reasonable prices at 20+- per rock. if u want those green/blue/orange and red ones, they can be quite pricey. anywhere from $50-80 per rock depending on the number of polyps. GO and reborn usually have nice mushrooms. u can try.

ah. thats when people start fragging and selling off old corals one big rock, frag into a small piece, then got alot mroe spaces hahaha. my tank now looks abit raw still, if u see my FTS. must let it mature and let the corals grow bigger to cover up the spaces. i still have my completely bare right hand side to plan and scape. haiz.. excited lols.

my sun is situated near the return pipe. so water is always flowing at it...but somehow, only open when the lighting is dim or when it senses food. when none of this is present, it sleeps -.-

cheap indo zoos look so spectacularly blue! how do u manage to keep ur suns open in the day!! mine simply refuses. even if it does, only for a short while without 100% polyp extension =( am currently training it haha
