  8. omg u frag zoos with open wounds? dude thats like a death sentence. if u have a metallic taste in ur mouth, that is the effect of palytoxin. please please be careful!!! sufficient level of palytoxin can and will kill you. u can lift the mats off the rocks. ya survivability is low. that is just another method of fragging. seldom used though

  12. Hi. Bought a dottyback from CF recently. looks like a splendid dottyback but without the eye bar. does anyone know what it is? cannot seem to find it online. closest i got was a splendid dottyback will appreciate the help thanks! thinking of adding another one but dunno if it will cause aggression.... dottybacks hmm.. CF had like 5-6 as of last sunday if anyone interested...
  13. yup that is the tomini tang. ctenochaetus tominiensis
  14. omg thats a very hot helfrichi!
  15. u can try GSP. they tolerate flow and are very brilliantly green. good addition. and perhaps even hardier than mushrooms. u can put a screw driver in the middle of the rock and hammer it. the screw driver will impale the rock and split it. u may sacrifice a polyp or two... another harder way, is to use a scapel and cut around the parts u wan to frag, and then lift the whole thing up from underneath. like a mat. but this method is hardre and more work. then u need to glue the frag to a smaller rock.
  16. CF has all the crabs u want except pom pom and mithrax. btw, solo bro. ur spelling is correct
  17. coral farm had one not too long ago. i dunno if still have or not. u can call to ask
  18. return it to a LFS. they should accept it
  19. try not to use fish for cycling. very inhumane. however if ur lookign for hardy beginner fishes after u cycled, u can try cardinals, clowns, royal gramma. maybe even a shrimp or two i dont recommend damsels and dottybacks as ur beginner fishes because they will get very aggressive and adding new tank mates will be abit of a hassle later on. i think most of us have been tru that i still have my blue damsel from my early days. if u do have a soft spot for damsels and dottybacks, can try adding them last. when all ur other fish hav settled in nciely u can read the articles posted in this forum re. cycling tank. happy to help =)
