  1. ur tank really nice. love the cloves
  2. wow lucky! looks like some sort of fromia sp. not sure though... it SHOULD be reef safe unlike their knobby un-reef safe cousins
  3. if its a healthy specimen it will grow back very quickly. in 1-2 weeks can grow back very significantly liao
  4. i got the same cactus at home lolz. smell v nice leh
  5. saw ur tank in the other forum and was very impressed. especially the white rhizo! the tentacles look so unearthly!
  6. but i must say ur taste in butterflies are really good. this is a beautiful specimen too. but i think quite hard also. if can keep it alive it will be really stunning (:
  7. some butterflies are hard to keep. like ornate and triangular..
  8. the colour of that yuma looks very cool leh. like something i've never seen on something alive. more like something from a TV screen. especially the pink
  9. haha bro thanks! if he bite my zoas i know who to find ya la. why must all the beautiful fishes be not reef safe like butterflies and angels. i think the only 2 butterflies that u can trust in a reef tank is longnose and copperband. but still....never trust them 100%
  10. the piipes im using are very small. so i cannot change the pump unless i redo the piping system. which is...very inconvinient.
  11. where u got this from! its quite somethign!
  12. wow from the previous pics i tot ur tank alot of rocks. but i like this oso. very cool
  13. i had a copperband which ate pellets last time. really difficult to get it to do that. but it die coz power shortage when i was overseas. so far that was the only copperband i had that ate pellets. the others i tried only ate mysis and frozen food.
  14. thanks! it can pick on all the tubeworm it wants. hopefully not my big and ornamental ones...
  15. my PO4 tested ok. its just NO3. probably thats why i don't hav much algae growing. hmm...algae scrubber. maybe will try that. but i wont be removing my skimmer for the scrubber. if i making scrubber probably hav to find somewhere to do it. sump no space
  16. henry hav many longnose now. i got one just now. very good condition, many of them are feeding aggressively. i belive training them to eat pellets are quite hard because of their mouth shape? i dunno. anyway i got one that is feeding on henry's food and mysis. alot of website say they very hardy.
  17. yep! its ok can wait for the products to kick in.
  18. henry got many yellow longnose butterflies, alot of copperbands, hector's goby, assorted other kind of gobies like watchman, randall's, and some cute goby i forgot the name. some very small and cute bannerfishes! only 2" very adorable. coral beauty, bicolour angels, a very nice blueface angel. saw it feeding. the butterflies were also feeding. other regular fishes too like those small eviotas i think..., mandarins, (both kinds). alot of carpet anemones left. green and whitish ones. purple also got. saddleback clowns many of them too. yumas left a few. saw 1 or 2 orange ones left.
  19. my sump has no space for a refugium. and i tried once with ulva but went asexual. nearly killed my tank -.- im going to get a denitrator la i think. saved some money from CNY and i think this would be a good investment. probably my test kit also something wrong. anyway nothing showing any signs of death so i won't worry for now.
  20. i manage to catch my big cardinals and going to give them away soon. so replace with a new fish today. according to henry, it's reef safe. but like any other butterflies, im going to keep an eye on it incase it goes crazy and start nibbling on my corals. feeding already on mysis and henry's food. very nice and yellow don't you think?
  21. wa very nice! got my fav butterfly too! pearlscale! very nice tank! can put longnose butterfly and copperband
