that algae is those hard green kind. dam hard to clean. must use razor to scrape out. cannot see from the front but under light from the side then can see.

Notice my anthelias and xenias release this extremely long "comb" like web from their polyps at night. these nets will retract back after a few seconds of swaying in the water. looks as though they are catching food particles or something. i never knew xenias and anthelias can capture food? to my knowledge at least... anyone here have any idea? quite mesmerising actually...to see long strands emerge and retract rapidly in a second or two. here is a picture. its hard to capture becoz its very transparent. but u can see roughly. and have drawn myself what it looks like in person.

nah dun think it is reef safe. its a butterfly. only copperband and longnose is reef safe with caution i think. others cannot trust at all.

Chaetodon Xanthocephalus surely is a beauty and rare in this trade! these are usually big butterflies, so 3.5 inch is a great sized specimen!

i really think MH is an overkill and not necessary for a tank of ur size. since u are keeping LPS, u dont need too much light. T5's are more than enough and they will be very happy.

no la that should be fine. around 8-10 hours sufficient... hmm i dunno why ur corals bleaching. usually bleach becoz of insufficient or extreme lighting and/or high heat. did u check ur PO4?

ahbeng also got alot of beautiful mccosker flasher wrasses. but the tank condition not very good...so whoever want to buy pls quarantine first

i imported mushies only =] single polyps. now very stressed. impossible to frag them now w/o killing them. will let them settle down and hopefully grow more polyps then trading will commence (: yea will let u know if im importing again.

white xenia finally pulsing. but pulsing fairly weakly. can't complain... and this white hammer that i saved from brown jelly disease. had to cut off 2 heads.
