  1. Fish Species: Flame Coral Beauty Bicolour angel No. of Attempts: flame - 2 attempts. 1st attempt died due to severe harrasment from coral beauty. 2nd attempt, died due to harrasment from the you know what fish coral beauty - number of attempts, 1. Bicolour - 1 Adaptability/Behavior: flame - very hardy but refused to come out thanks to the....... coral beauty - swimming like a big gangster with all other fishes at his/her disposal. Bicolour - Never lived long enough. died within 3 hours from my coral beauty Temperament: Flame - Peaceful and docile Coral beauty - Needless to say. even my 2.5inch damsel lived in fear. Bicolour - I don't know. never lived long enough. Diet: flame - Pellets Coral beauty - everything. including other fishes tails, fins, scales. he/she helps him/herself to it btw. Reef Compatible: flame - 100% reef safe coral beauty - reef safe 100%. but fish safe only 60% bicolour - Theoratically, not reef safe. Experience never gave me a chance. Comments/Remarks: flame - Wonderful addition to any marine tank coral beauty - IMO, one of the easiest and starter dwarf angels if u get them healthy. however, u will slash your wrist and attempt suicide multiple attemps over if you are suay enough to get 1 that is as aggressive as mine. Not to mention crying your eyes out as you watch your <$10 fish killing your other fishes that are worth 10 times more. and that's only half of it. Getting it out of your tank will be a never ending swirling torrent of misery. bicolour - a wonderful, cheap and super beautiful IMO, but keep them in FOWLR, as they are known to be one of the more non-reefsafe centropyges. Sorry if i sound biased against coral beauty had bad experience with it. killed over $100 worth of fishes and it took me 1 month to trap it.
  2. can feed ur hand and leg to ur harlequin lucky only bomb hand and leg. btw dam nice ur golden angel. see liao dam shiok. make me wan chiong LFS
  3. exquisite wrasse collected by a very friendly reefer. bartlett pending collection tomorrow. ups for the arrow crab. no body wants it? if not i will keep it
  4. not advisable unless u have a large tank. anemones dislike other anemones and may produce chemicals to try to kill each other off. unless u have a big enuf tank. use carbon.
  5. my rhomboid wrasse and my arrow crab are expert bristle worm hunters my flame and exquisite will come and steal the worm from the rhomboid....once he finds it. but cannot win my 4 inch yellow wrasse. teeth like ice picks will rip the worm into confetti and my whole tank will have a worm party
  6. its a good thing i own this aquarium. can look at it anytime i want just kidding. i like how it looks so clean and clear compared to other large blurry aquariums
  7. ahaha. ok bartlett and exquisite pending collection this week. ups for arrow crab anyone?
  8. exquisite and bartlett reserved, sorry to those who expressed interest. left arrow crab.
  9. it survived with my harlequin for many months. but they ignored it. guess they dont like brittel stars.
  10. btw upz for the arrow crab really like it alot but cannot keep! wrasse wants to eat it.
  11. told u the condition its in liao hehe. can never grow fat. dunno isit worms trying to fatten him up. but mainly coz i no time to feed...come back home evening he only gets one meal a day. and only eating henry's food. problem child! u wan ah? see how hehe. if i really cant fatten him up maaaybe let u have it. but abit paiseh to sell u in this condition :x kekeke
  12. no worries. am very very sure its a carpenter's. the tail and body does not look like that of a filament. care level wise is similar. very easy but timid at first. very good jumpers
  13. k lah. after that cheesy poetic tribute, here's something horrifying. my brittle star. has been with me since day 1 of my tank and has grown exponentially. super duper rubbish eater. will stick out its arms in the water column and literally catch whatever food it can. however, due to its large size, i'm not sure if the bioload it produces is counter effective to the amount of crap it removes from my tank. <.< and its an albino to! XD unique colour and super terrified of light. here he is....photo taken at night. he will crawl with dexterity and agility comparable to the fastest monkey in the jungle ......... when the lights are on hehe. ps, to see how huge it is. there's a hermit crab for comparison on the top right hand haha
  14. The orange rhodactis u see in the middle of this picture was acquired more than 8 months ago with my good pal reddevilz and jamesssss. it was an original rock of 8 or more (cant remember), from coral farm. i spotted it and we got the whole rock to ourselves. we each took home a frag, while the remaining mushrooms on the mother rock was kept in reddevilz's tank from then till now. my original frag died months after, due to some unknown cause ( i posted it in my tank thread waaaaaay back). its been 6 months later, and with me now, is a frag of the original mushroom from that day. i still have another smaller 1 in my tank tat is recovering from slight bleaching. that makes a grand total of 2, inside my tank. its a very special mushroom as u can see, and i believe its not a common find as you are reading this post, the original rock has been shared amongst a few very close reefer friends of mine. each with a piece of the original mushroom >8 months ago. even tho reddevilz has decom, this mushroom coral is very special to me haha. after so long, not only has the colour of the mushroom retained, but has improved greatly! and so has my friendship with reddevilz ok lah very cheesy. but im still dam sad he decomm this one for u bro. ps i din have time to take a better pic, so reused the same one with my bartlett anthias that i am selling in pasar malam and on the left is a 5 polyp frag of dragon eye zoas!! hope i can do it justice by letting growing it out.
  15. very difficult to differentiate between males and females for centropyges. most do not have any different patterns to distinguish. even if they do, very subtle and most likely not the least bit helpful. the best way to pair up any dwarf angel is to get 1 big and 1 small 1. sexing males tend to be larger. all of them start out as females in the wild, and as they grow larger, pecking order etc, will morph to males. so as a rule of thumb most large specimens are males. hope that helps.
  16. nice wrasse! looks like P. Carpenteri to me, carpenter's flasher wrasse. however, a photo showing the number of dorsal filaments will confirm the ID. The tail looks like a carpenter too. Filament flashers usually have a very deep V tail design. HTH
  17. Hi bro have an interest in the fish liao. will pm u if the buyer dont want it anymore. RG not for sale
  18. 8.37 am and ur awake on SRC! lolz. and wah u can be my prodigy. my old elegance was exactly 1.1ft. measured it. my new 1 cannot compare in size. around 9-10 inches when fully open. but colour wise similar
