  1. rather quiet in pasir ris side. ahbeng has some alpha standard Filamented Flasher wrasses. Paracheilinus filamentosus.
  2. Cirrhilabrus Rhomboidalis. Rhomboid Fairy wrasse otherwise known as Diamond Tail Fairy wrasse. THE hole grail of wrasses to many, and certainly to me. Found only in the marshall islands, these fishes make their way here rarely, via hawaii shipments. to about 5 inches or more. Nuptial males display a purple band across their body when flashing. First picture is of mine, taken with flash hence the weird colour. last 2 pictures by bro kueytoc.
  3. Cirrhilabrus Scottorum. The Scott's Fairy wrasse. Common in australia, vanuatu shipments. Very colourful fish but notoriously difficult to retain the colours. Easy to keep as far as i know. Pic shows the difference between Australian ones VS the standard scott fairy variant. 2nd photo shows the australian variant.
  4. thanks bro digiman and kueytoc for continuing this thread!. Cirrhilabrus Lanceolatus. Very similar and the sister of C. Roseafascia. never seen it before and i think its very rare. size and requiremens should be similar to C. Roseafascia.
  5. how can you compare!! lol. yours is clearly so much more alpha! the last picture is amazing. the gold dots extend all the way from head to tail, and there is so much purple! hope mine gets to that standard one day hehe sure did
  6. lazy to count ah. should be same no?
  7. 3rd, 4th and 5th pieces shared with friend.
  8. red flesh green eye favia frag from a friend. also known as "aussie war coral", for reasons i'm not quite sure why...
  9. Gold stem torch coral from australia wait so long for this decided to just go for it. the eclectic gold highlights against a light brown background is escentuated under blue lights. sadly cannot capture the colours on camera well.
  10. hehe corals grow on stones. if u thinking of the OTHER stone, then get a DIAMOND tail wrasse aka cirrhilabrus rhomboidalis. both also burn hole in pocket hor peter?
  11. lol great! sorry for overreacting... eveyrtime i see white spots on zoas i freak. the time taken to cure them is insane. not to mention the trouble. do regularly inspect them from time to time, and if u see any symptoms, just get furan 2. if u ever need, let me know. have a constant supply.... at least u learn how to ID pox!!
  12. aiyo just got it today. when open i take lol.
  13. well.. its these pair of eyes than enable me to spot gems amongst the thorns btw, do check up on my latest comment about your zoas. if it is indeed pox, do a thorough scan and treat them. have battled them before and won, but with some casualties. palythoas will not get pox. mostly zoas. some of them seem to be immune to it though.
  14. bro craftsman i just spotted something very bad. your entire tubbs blue rock is infested with zoa pox. see those closed polyps that have the white "pimples"? these will kill your zoas in no time. remove all infected rocks and pop all of them with something sharp like a toothpick. they will burst and ooze out a milky viscous liquid. after that, dip them in furan 2 for half an hour and repeated treatment everyday for 5 days, and then rest for 1 week. repeat until all pox are cleared. i could be wrong since the photo is so small, and it could be sand or something. but do check coz if its pox, treat them early otherwise it will be too late
  15. eh seems there's a new member name veryorngecarrot remove my avatar wait ppl think i associated with him... dont worry about today. you didnt miss much. CF quite quiet. i bought the golden torch though
  16. i spy a whipfin fairy wrasse. take notice of this fish as it has the potential to become a terror, especially to other wrasses. otherwise, beautiful tomini tang and tank. pun intended. people normally shy away from tominis but i find them absolutely stunning with the beautiful white tail
  17. yeah i loved it too! this pcture was taken very long ago. they're all gone now :/ recently keep hearing the phrase CHOP CARROT. find it amusing how this two words can mean kotok people where there's no reation to the orange root vegetable at all. maybe i can make one chop lemon?
  18. yep samsies thats a flame hawk. neocirrhites armatus. they appear in hawaii shipments, though not all the time, and often in small numbers.
  19. my pride and joy. cannot thank digiman enough for this. rhomboid wrasse.
  20. anthellia mountain! how pretty
  21. top shot of my huge elegance. this is my old one. current one is much smaller. still in search of a giant show size one just like my former.
