  5. yes growing steadily. cant help but feel that every wrasse i throw in pales in comparison to my rhomboid pair but each is beautiful in its own light. collection increases slowly but steadily lol. wont be getting any more soon though in lieu of my 3 week trip. rics? nothing compared to what's on the forum here lah hahahahahha. yesterday went to reefer (????'s) house, and saw close to or more, than 100 rics all lined up nicely. eye popping lol. and very nice too so mine is nothing lah. will post some pictures soon maybe.
  6. new fairy. cirrhilabrus rubrisquamis. the rosy scale fairy wrasse. this one's from the maldives.
  7. the tireless pulsation of xenias are so mesmerising. frags of X.elongata. speed is comparable to that of X.umbellata, but not as pretty.
  8. ITS GROWING!!!! and very fast too. multiple runners being laid out by the blue cespitularia. very soon i will have plenty of frags yay.
  9. wah but wow that's really alot of the same fish in 1 lfs. haha
  10. fishes do it externally. no pleasure for them
  11. my rhomboid is flashing alot today. at my new rosyscale lol. anyway, here's a video of a flame wrasse flashing to mate with some females. it looks much better in real life but here's the real video. enjoy!
  12. nah no rics dont worry. i dont really follow thrends. i try setting new thrends but mostly fail miserable so i just do things the lemon way lol. yeah after so long. so paiseh to start a thread then leave it hanging. so will do it up nicely and play with my nano. haha
  13. FINALLY! AFTER MONTHS! AND MONTHS OF WAITING. i can start on my nano sent my tank for drilling but had to wait very very long because of clash in timing etc. but no worries, i have my exams anyways tank is done, will collect it from reddevilz on 4th of march. the day my exam ends. will connect to my 3ft and use liverock from my own tank. so basically, no need to cycle wahaha! will do it up nicely before my trip to india on the 17th march. the things im going to keep, secret for now or rather..... may be exciting for me, but not to most members here i like weird stuff and what excites me may be turn offs for most reefers here. anywho, excited can finally start after like, months loll. non-stop hardcore reefing for nano and 3ft officially starts 4th march 11am. The end of CELL BIOLOGY PAPER DIGTATES MY FREEEEEEEEEEDOM. BEEEP
  14. i would stick to the nano if i were you. your nano was very nice and its tough to keep a nano. discipline needs to be there and you have succeded very well. quite a challenge.
  15. lol happy birthday terryz. birthday present wan wat? modestus?
  16. can make scape in the form of "valley" or.... valley of the "secret gardens". more space for your "forbidden fruits"
  17. i want C. SANGUINEUS! so rare even in its own habitiat
  18. yes. amazingly the one with decompression problem managed to survive.. lol. good to hear/ as for mark, yes still have a good number of normal rics at iwarna.
  19. normal coloured rics. flame angels, yellow tang... captive bred percs and black clowns. plenty of female meleagris leopard wrasses. looking quite good if i must say so myself.
  20. here's an old photo i found of him flashing! this was his virgin flash and was the one and only time i caugh him flashing. too bad i wasnt prepared and hence, such a lousy shot. fairy wrasses adopt different colour tones when flashing, and all are different for each species but same for the same species. meaning, all rhomboids will look the same when flashing, but no two different wrasses will have the same flashing display. rhomboids look kinda ugly when flashing. the purple patch on the body and tail, along with everything else becoming a bright gold. i prefer a flame wrasse's nuptial display.
