didnt see any wrasses at LCK. CF have but very common ones. mainly social wrasses - cirrhilabrus rubriventralis velvet wrasses - cirrhilabrus luteovitattus (Iwarna coming in some tomorrow too) -
omg flamboyant cuttlefish
-
ups for the mummy eye. saw it million times and each time it gets nicer :D
-
microbubbles can get trapped in the clam.
-
ha no ty. dont want hawkfish. yes i love lemon and lemon yellow
-
still have many more lifestock that i never showcase. but too hard to photograph with my crappy camera. tribute to my pellet eating mandarin, PBT, flasher wrasses, and my godzilla 4.5 inch yellow wrasse tat has been with me since day 1 hope to see all of them when i get back from my trip! so emo today. sigh
-
oops forgot my cebu pylei! the ventral fins are longer than his body. and he uses it to tickle other fishes. very cute to see when he expands all his fins. but don't have a photo of that :/

2 of the most hardworking fellas in my tank. copperband which inspects and cleans all new corals. that includes aiptasia and worm clean up. the tireless blue neon goby. i have 3 in my tank.1 blue and 2 yellow. the blue one is my favourite because unlike most other neon gobies, this guy refuses to perch on rocks. an open swimmer like my wrasses.

laboutei. beautiful, but hardly post about it because he's too darn fast. only can take using flash.
-

some picturs of my lesser shown lifestock. these guys are just as beautiful as any rhomboid or flame wrasse. just that i don't post pictures of them much. first my cute pair of clown gobies. love them to bits. so adorable.
-
interesting! a marine vivarium. have done vivarium and terrariums but only for freshwater based organisms and snakes before. will like to see this go along nicely. maybe some mangroves too? hehe
-

for those who missed the rhomboids at iwarna's previous hawaii shipment, here's your chance. 12 arriving tomorrow. for more details see iwarna's sponsor thread. -
to be honest. i like to reef simply. i like to share, and i like to be carefree. but when you know more people, you have to satisfy what they want. alot of times i buy fish and coral i post on my tank thread, because i like to. but they will say no cannot. dont post. etc etc. to be honest, i do all these things to please them as friends. if i were to reef on my own, wont have all these problem. but of course, the more ppl you meet, you respect their decision too. so give and take, its a compramise. but when problems start arising because of corals and conflict of interest, sometimes its time to just say how you feel. experience before. good friends turn on each other over corals and other stuff. for what? i dunno. but when you're caught in the middle, you try to help or get stuck. end up more problems. glad its all over now. with regards to hardiness, i prefer palys. zoas abit troublesome. pox, pests etc.

oh sorry didnt read. maybe it was working but after storing for 2 months, it got a bit wonky and can't use? not supporting anyone here but it is a possibility.
-
bro sorry to hear. but first of all, wrong section. so have moved the thread to kopi tiam for you. second, maybe you would like to give bro jameshong a benefit of the doubt? maybe he did not know it was spoilt as he kept for 2 months, and he was busy and didnt reply you. senior reefers should know better than to scam someone. all the best and hope this gets clarified asap.

yeah please don't kill. remember, its never the lifestock fault. its their natural self. give me if you don;t want. i love clown gobies haha! i have a pair.

forgot to mention, tons of PBT at LCK. literally tons of them. all sizes. smallest i saw was 2 inch. -
mitratus 200? really? i thought they're around 300+ oh well, will scout for it when i get back. yeah i love raops and prognathodes too. temp shouldnt be a problem exceeding 28. that's my highest temp and lowest is 26. unless this is still too warm for them, it should be alright. regarding reefsafeness, not sure. think they're still ok compared to most shallow water species.. i trust deeper water "non-reefsafe" fishes more.

nah. not afraid. the only gobies i have are 2 clown gobies they hang around the top part of my tank on the capnella. too bright and high for the comet for now. hopefully it doesn't eat the gobies lah... but no guarantee. maybe 1 day they grow slowly right? i hope. yes i wanted to get the declives at CF. but only when i get back from my trip. went there today, the old 1 at CF was sold, and the latest 1 was unhealthy and died. so no declives at the moment for me. i'm eyeing contrail's mitratus. but again, even if, only when i get back. $300+++ too expensive to risk. when i get back. declives or mitratus will be a must for me. always like the deepwater tinkerii complex but never had the guts to keep them. nowadays i'm not so particular about reefsafeness, plus most of the softies i keep are quite noxious. so i guess it will be okay
-
yep. fully understand the risks involved. the more recent purchases are from reefers and they keep for many years already. so in terms of stability and adaptability, very well. as for my tank, well, so far so good, feeding and no aggression with my fishes. the only risk taken is the betta which i will have slightly more than a week to take close attention. by nature, they are extremely hardy, even hardier than damsels. the only problem is the initial shyness expressed by these fish. so hopefully, 1 week is enough more or less. but i have taken some precautions. i sold my anthias and my harem of flasher wrasses. will reduce the more common ones before i leave.

OMG! Look at these hybrids and rare fishes!
