  1. cf - 2 SUPER MALE rhomboids. very long pelvic fins and tail. gorgeous and very healthy. - 2 females left. - 1 cm joculators. feeding on artemia. X2 of them - 1 joculator - multicolour angel - naoko fairys. a few. - mystery wrasse - velvet wrasse - 2 declivis butterfly. 3 inch > - majestic angels, emperor, blue ring The rhomboids are seriously one of the nicest and healthies i have ever come across. the pelvic fins are very long and so are the tail. 1 is reserved so the other 1 is still available. really gorgeous. jacky posted a picture of it labelled "wrasse" above. but the picture doesnt show the tail and the fins properly. test fed and all are feeding.
  2. if a pink birdnest from cedric can survive in MY TANK, and grow to 3x the size, then i'm sure anyone can do it. considering how lax i am in Ca, Mg dosage etc.
  3. it will die if its exposed to light 24/7. fish need to sleep and such stress over long periods will kill it.
  4. nope. actually the white patch has 2 eyes. but not very clear from the picture. resembles a mouthless face lol
  5. if i manage to trap, i'm only sellign the cheap ones. like my very alpha solar and some flashers. but all quite big and flashy.
  6. my fav is P.falcifer lol. the scythe butterfly. but rare until siao i think.
  7. marcellae LCK bring in before a few times. aya and marcellae look kinda similar to me. but both oso v nice.
  8. ok ok lah. have always liked butterfly just that last time i very particular about reef safeness. nowadays i quite bo chap. i losing interest in zoas so that's a huge load off my shoulders. and most of my softies quite unpalatable. i plan to keep a few butterflies. they add alot of colour to the tank. copperband, declivis and maybe 1-2 more. maybe a mitratus and a P.marcellae? i need to trap some fishes first.
  9. saw a very brilliant pair. the male was splendid and it looked okay. abit stressed though. was still avail at around 7+. call to check
  10. beautiful, extremely hardy, what's more to wait. haha. thanks mark! got. previous page.
  11. desi. i purposely saved my india money and did not buy anything. so when i got back, i rushed to convert it to spend hehe. peacemaker, racoons are very beautiful but are not reefsafe at all. i like the red sea variant onne best. i feel like adding butterflies now. kinda dont care if they nip my corals. most are softies anyway. not very tasty.
  12. forgot to mention, 3 colini's angel in reborn. 1 has been sold because it had strong interest in food. the other two, one of them show signs of chasing food and biting on live brine. so for those angel nuts, you might wanna try it.
  13. lol. if i wanted to get i would have gotten both at the start and introduced both together. but i think 1 will be okay even though i would like two. but too ex liao.... expensive considered its a declivis. shall not disclose price
  14. here's from the net showing the large spike at the ana| fin. one thing about this species i find is the inconsistency in the yellow colouration on the back. i like those with more yellow but the one i got is largely black. which is still fine.
  15. One of my dreams fulfilled. I don't care if he wanna eat any coral in my tank. Let it. Chaetodon (Roaps) declivis. The marquesan or declivis butterflies. This subgenus of butterflies, the roaps, consisting of declivis, mitratus, burggessi, tinkerii and mitratus, are one of the easiest butterflies to care for. Otherwise known as the tinkeri complex, these butterflies feed immediately on arrival and some even in their shipping bags. by far one of the, if not, the most easy species of butterflies to keep. if not for the hefty price that is. here's my 2nd fav of the subgenus. the declivis. feeding agressively on mysis and pellets in my tank now. funny how it does not seem to be afraid of anything. even my hand, face etc at the glass point blank. i love it when he extends his fins. the armani style dorsal is cool but what strikes me the most is the swiss knife like ana| fin. a splendid fish.
  16. 2 declivis butterflies left at RB. all feeding on live brine extremely well. should have no problem with frozen or pellets.
  17. my rics exploded in size whilst i was away! nice! my humble collection. i have another small rock which i didnt take photo of. same colour combi and same size. so i figured posting one will suffic.
  18. very unique clove corals spotted at iwarna. purple center, bright green "petals" first time seeing this colour morph. i think left a few more colonies only. PBTs @ iwarna too.
  19. As requested, more group photos! first photo in a temple. very big and grand, entirely hand built, carved and painted with great detail. i got the red hat free from a friend! i love it tons. 2nd picture is at the peak of the elephant temple. climbed like tons of stairs. run for my $. wore my favourite black shirt with the red angry face! tore a hole in it while in india. so sad.. 3rd photo at a picture stop on the way up the mountain in kotagiri. cool and scenic. mountains and mountains of tea plantations! one of the nicest sceneries i ever laid eyes on. 4th picture at a mushroom farm. 5th and 6th picture at the tip of kotagiri, at a nature reserve. max temp 19 deg, lowest 0 deg.
  20. mmm 5 rhomboid shimpents in a row! time to expand my harem.
