  4. thanks. longnose are one of my favourite species. very very handsome fish, and IMO, looks nicer than a copperband. but colour wise, cbb win. IMO. my rhomboid and pylei are having a fight now!! BOTH are flashing like crazy with fins extended sooo much. and circling each other. i turned off my lights to stop the fight. saw some scales flying everywhere and i think enough is enough. lest one of them dies -.- not sure why they're fighting...
  5. be thankful its not a human liver fluke! those things grow to about 3 inches and suck your blood and bile.
  6. THE ABSOLUTE MOST HORRIBLE THING I HAVE EVER WATCHED. but i have to admit, being a huge fan of disgusting stuff, it is AWESOME!! and the remarks are HILARIOUS hahaha a very large abscess being burst. viewer discretion. if you are eating, just eaten, or about to eat, i seriously suggest, don't watch this

  11. cooperbands develop their beaks after settlement on the reef floor. these little guys are just starting to develop them.
  12. easier than other tilefishes i think. so far appearing on the 3rd day but very very briefly only. hoping that they will come out longer with time. still haven see the 3rd one yet.
  13. ok update on the tilefishes. 2 out of 3 are appearing regularly to feed after flooding the tank with henry's food. appearances are 1-3 mins of casual swimming around before going back to it's hole. at least i know 2 out of 3 are still alive and feeding. although they're not as fat as i want them to be.
  14. the tilefish? it was. for awhile. before going back. it just came out while i was having dinner 5 mins ago. very very graceful, looks like a big shark with the tail and the fins. but now back into hiding again.
  15. briefly yes! and feeding too. but still extremely extremely shy.
  16. i like the lilac center brown skirt paly. the 3 big ones. so cool.

  19. a rare buffet treat to the fishies. prawn on a thread.
  20. 91 litres have you sold the fish? if so, let me know so i can close this thread. no need so much TCSS and i believe members have already stated their point. and btw, some things are not necessary to bid. a flame angel that is not out of the norm, what for start a bidding? they are commonly available and easy to care for, bidding will only prolong your sales. that's just my personal opinion. this will only make members reinforce their belief that the bidding system is really out for profiteering. so please start a bid thread with discretion and don't just throw any ol' livestock for bidding -.-
  21. saddle backs are very common during phillipine/indo shipments. CF and iwarna regularly stock them. easy to keep though abit more touchy than the more common butterflies. grows quite large

  24. they do take frozen and/or pellets but my experience is, it may not be enough to sustain them. they are obligate sand sifters and get alot of their nutrients from sifting sand rich in microfauna..
