  1. i was sooo close to obtaining kanamycin. had a bottle of it free for all during microbiology lab but just nice for everyone. not enough to bring home. sigh
  2. i dunno how long to soak so i usually leave it for half hour. i abit kiasu so i just overfeed it with prazi. my other fish also eat so i guess is good lah.
  3. the roseafascia looks very fat today after repeated feedings of praziquantal soaked food. fed it 4 times today and 3 times yesterday. i hope it works after repeated feedings 3 times a day, everyday for 5 days.
  4. wait for awhile then add bah. bacteria don't die so easily but just incase.
  5. hahahaha. big tank is ok nothing else to buy for now. my next fish will be paucifasciatus or asfur. must wait for shipment.
  6. i went back to CF today to get the 2 inch majestic. too nice and cute liao. eating pellets summore. looks really like a dwarf angel. full adult colour too.
  7. just curious bro. where you get your sand from? how come got so much to sell.
  8. CF also has a tank full of Pseudanthias parvirostris, the sunset anthias. note* not sunburst anthias, but sunset anthias. not very commonly seen and very pretty.
  9. CF have many majestic angels.... only 2.5 inch. smallest majestic angels i've seen with full adult colours. feeding on pellets too.
  10. don't think so. brine shrimp are really hardy... they won't die from the medication. i suppose a few drops of prazi in the brine shrimp water and the brine will ingest the prazi and act as a transportation method.
  11. the second sentence is very very true. i agree completely. sigh today's sunday already. update on the roseafascia. fed praziquantal soaked mysis shrimp and henry's food yesterday and today. it ate everything up. not sure how effective is soaking frozen food in medicated solution. exactly how much of the medicine is absorbed i'm not sure. maybe i will get live brine and let them swim in prazi before feeding my fish.
  12. although most pistol shrimps will pair with almost every kind of shrimp goby, certain gobies are found only with certain shrimps in the wild. replicating this in the tank may make pairing easier. for example, yasha goby (stonogobiops yasha) is always only found with candy pistol shrimp (alpheus randalli). pairing these two up might be easier.
  13. he top up with water from a DI unit. but he left it running and forgot about it. so his salinity drop until very low. that's why this accident happen.
  14. YAH! i love it so much! i can just watch it swim around my tank for hours. i keep telling my mother and my bro about it but no one interested.
  15. yep. fish tank sure got sound. only loud or soft only... mine very quite but used to be dam noisy. coz my overflow always create siphoning sound. until i solved it with filter wool.
  16. not impossible. wrasses don't need females to change sex. as long as they are stable, very dominant and established, they will morph in time. this is one of the harder leopard wrasses in the genus and to keep it 2 years and feeding on pellets, and for $15. this is a good buy. really really good.
  17. WOW VERY NICE! it's actually a colonial tunicate but people just commonly call it a sponge. very very nice piece!!
  18. I got back my two monster clowns from fuel. it was 2 of the 20 survivors from his unfortunate clownfish massacre. It's a champion. no pictures though. it's swimming at the back of the tank. too far to take photograph. but let's just say they're small and very nice....so much so that my marginalis butterflyfish tried to eat them........................................
  19. and i just can't get enough of it!! feeds like a tractor.
  20. according to fuel, this wrasse looks like a devil fish. they look really evil and don't be fooled. they are fierce and the colouring resembles some kind of demon. the photo didn't come up properly. it's actually purple and the belly is rose pink. not white. i'm actually planning to sell away all 6 because they grow up very big and turns a uniform green as an adult. but not so soon i guess...
