  1. Small tinkers are so beautiful. Poster child for butterflies everywhere
  2. Yes centropyge deborae finally came. But it is not rare and is available most times via walt smith. This is one of a handful of fish named after wives. Marjorie fairy wrasse was named after bruce carlson's wife Marj, and naoko was the name of hiroyuki tanaka's wife. Now used for Cirrhilabrus naokoae
  3. an aberrant potter's photographed by copps when he was in japan.
  4. philippine fish shipment at iwarna Cebu pylei wrasse (Cirrhilabrus pylei) - male and female available. very nice, and haven't seen these in awhile already. females hard to find so if you're looking to pair or create a small harem, grab them. red margin fairy wrasse (Cirrhilabrus rubrimarginatus) - male and female possum wrasses - two species, Wetmorella tanakai and W. albofasciata. Liopropoma swalesi - Swale's basslet. many pieces 1x .Belonoperca chabanaudi A.K.A Arrowhead soapfish. also nassarius snail and bumblebee snails. attached image of cebu pylei wrasse for reference.\
  5. dejong new rarities. spotted lemonpeel hybrid and pylei dottybacks.
  6. bella goby and lunatus fairy wrasse at house of fins. koji gave these to them FOC as souvenirs.

  8. yes. something is wrong with me today. i'm obsessing over and over again about these fish that i cannot get this is my favourite of all time. smith's butterfly! this is an old picture in an aquarium, probably somewhere in japan. or maybe waikiki.
  9. it's difficult but doable. i recommend feeding with mysis or frozen food soaked with praziquantel for the first 2 weeks. bartletts tend to fade in captivity after awhile. bartletts that survive many years in aquariums are often very light pink, almost white!
  10. a closer look at Chrysiptera rapanui. together with hotumatua and litus butterfly, these 3 can make for a stunning easter island biotope.
  11. chingchai's new rare boxfish trio. omg the left one is amazing.
  12. a huge group of Chrysiptera rapanui. look how they shine in the reef!!
  13. rare fish fans, you MUST check out this video on easter island. this very initimate video highlights in full HD some of the rarest and most sought after easter island endemics. swarms of litus butterflies.
  14. his tank is an angel paradise! and all these live in a fully stocked SPS and LPS reef. amazing! his tank is the most overstocked SPS tank i've sen with countless of anthias, angels, and wrasses! i love tanks like these as it mixes fish and corals so well. even a large christmas island emperor swims in his tank. while most of the above mentioned fish are not rare, many are v difficult to keep in captivity so seeing one alive is, kinda rare in its own way.
  15. another difficult wrasse that is thriving in bradley's tank is the choat's leopard. hundreds of chaot's leopard have entered singapore in the past few years but the number of surviving specimens are probably less than a dozen. perhaps that is also over estimating. having tried this species before, i can testify to the difficulty.dreds of chaot's leopard have entered singapore in the past few years but the number of surviving specimens are probably less than a dozen. perhaps that is also over estimating. having tried this species before, i can testify to the difficulty.

  17. this is one of the more amazing fairy wrasse transformations i've seen. he bought this earlei as a juvinile, not even a female. and look what it has grown into. a beautiful studly alpha male!
  18. Anampses chrysocephalus is a difficult and v sensitive fish. they are difficult to feed, often ship very badly and many die within weeks. also they are prone to internal parasites as well. males are especially sensitive and many arrive DOA. this one has been with him for years as well. i'm v jealous and love this fish!
  19. his recent addition to his anthias collection are a few aurulentus anthias. and they are doing just as perfect
  20. bradley has an amazing fish collection. his tank is bustling with fish and all in an SPS tnak. these are just some of his many ventralis anthias. all are very fat and healthy and he has kept them for years. good quarantine practices + healthy specimens will ensure long lived fish! sadly many ventralis often come with internal parasites and need to be medicated. they eat but never grow fat!
  21. a pure blooded attenuatus flasher in full display. if you ask me, the pedigree is much more beautiful. this is one of my favorite flasher species but sadly, it's not easy to find here in singapore.
