  1. not very common. seen it a few times only. fuel bought some when we were there months ago.. keep you updated if i see anymore again.
  2. CF have this from time to time.
  3. this fish is called the mutant wrasse. omg i just realised why!! look at the pelvic fins!! there's NO PELVIC FINS!!
  4. the next time i'm there and have time to spare, i will try to help aunty trap it out... i wanted to sms you asking if you want, but i remember you keep before so i don't know if you want to keep it again. and i thought you had already made up your mind wether you want or not since you knew about it 2 days ago before the shipment.. i wanted it myself initially but decided don't want coz i still feel my tank is too small. aunty already was being asked to throw it in, i just told her my honest opinion that not many will get it, maybe a handful only. then she just ask me put in for her... if we knew you wanted it, 100% won't throw in coz aunty usually only put fish that no one wants to buy. or leftovers.
  5. no lah i din say it's a hybrid. i say maybe got some hybrid blood some where in his lineage. oh! eh the crosshatch is not my fault!! aunty said she will throw in by today or tomorrow coz no one wanted to buy. someone already convincing aunty to put it in since yesterday because he said it's very nice will look very nice in the sps tank, besides, it's reef safe. i was there in the evening so i agreed and say yes it will look very nice inside there. i told her not many people will buy crosshatch, so it will be here for at least 1 or 2 more days. then she say ok lah u help me throw in. so i did.. if i knew you wanted it i would have told aunty...
  6. Paracheilinus togeanensis looks dull. but seldom heard it so just put here.
  7. Paracheilinus hemitaeniatus! only known from comoros island and madagascar.
  8. Isn't this earlei wrasse? fishbase lists it as Conniella apterygia. maybe it was renamed.
  9. not to mention this. Cirrhilabrus lunatus... the tail is just wow
  10. Fishbase lists this as Cirrhilabrus beauperryi. looks hell lot like punctatus?
  11. pseudojuloides mesostigma. why is this fish never seen here even though it's found in indonesia and phillipine?? my favourite pencil wrasse. will get LFS to hunt for me!
  12. lol thanks. it's nice but quite normal now that i look at it. and it's so aggressive. i didn't know lemonpeels are so fierce. it's the newest fish and yet it dare to flare it fins at my majestic angel. look at the photo. but no physical fighting lah.
  13. this wrasse is very rare and very expensive. it's like, holy grail.. even if you had the money to get, it won't be easy i think. think only few or none of the LFS here can bring in for you.
  14. ok here it is. freaking difficult to take a picture coz it keeps swimming. i can't use flash coz the blue lines will reflect the light and make it look white. so i turned on the actinics to make the blue stand out more to take a better photo... so pardon the dark pictures anyway after looking at it for awhile, realise it's not very special... just some extra blue lines at places where normal lemonpeels don't have... but got it at 2.8 red notes... might sell it to terryz if i grow bored of it. but look at the 3rd photo! there's a nice blue chin and blue lips.
  15. to know if it's ORA's mandarins, simple. just feed it. since ORA's mandarins are all trained to eat pellets and what not, then feed it lor. not feeding, means not ORA. lol. if feeding but not ORA, then even better also. no gain no lose. unless ORA's ones are very much higher priced.
  16. agreed 1 billion % the corals can survive in a simple pail of water for 1 hour no problem. no need to leave them out of water. if u epoxy them to the rock, remove the rock or try to remove the epoxy by hacking it.
  17. was at iwarna looking at what's left from yesterday's hawaii shipment. saw an orange peel with an unusual amount of blue on it's face. it had blue ring around the eyes, just like normal. but the gill cover is trimmed in blue, the gill spine is blue, the mouth is blue, the chin is blue, the chest has some blue spots, and the pectoral fin base has also some blue spots. the blue glow like glowsticks in actinics lol. terryz said it was beautiful, digiman said it looked normal just that it had some extra blue markings. i agree with terryz that it is nice, but i also felt it's normal. just with some extra blue. and i did not want to buy it coz i scared my slight ich problem will be worse with an extra fish. but it was going at a steal!!! i'm not a fan of lemonpeels.... especally orange peels. but the extra blue markings made me buy it anyway. i believe somewhere in it's family tree there was a hybrid once. surprised to find this beauty in the leftover pile.... guess people don't look hard enough!
  18. jiayou bah. should not be too difficult like purple queen or the others.
  19. so jealous of chingchai. got a trio earlei's fairy wrasse!! here's some nice photos from leonard ho. the first 1, flashing. if i can own this i will die in PEACE.
  20. best not to. at least minimum 2 feedings a day. anthias feed like, 24/7 in the wild. it's best to feed them many small meals a day. your anthias colour will not hold if you do 1 feeding a day, with 1 kind of food. the best way is to feed a varied diet, frequently. cyclopeeze is the best in bringing out and retaining colours.
