  1. not cheap but much more user friendly and can dose more things.
  2. very diligent reefer.. i would say go for dosing. i no $$ so go for 2nd hand CR. haven hooked it up yet coz i forsee the tuning will drive me nuts...
  3. u using a CR or a dosing pump?
  4. i see.. well from what i know coral farm is usually pest free as in crabs, worms, mantis etc. coz they utilise the seawater drip method which flushes out these critters. aiptasia can live in this drip if it's lucky enough to be anchored in the part where it has contact with water.
  5. those are usually fist sized and all come in the same round spherical shape. i don't think it' meant for scaping coz it's too small and all same shape. probably used for seeding tank or for decorative purposes. coz they do look really beautiful. they are selling the rock as coraline algae and not liverock i guess.
  6. iwarna's liverock is good as well. varyign sizes from small, medium to very big. i got the very large ones to scape my tank and it's so easy. u can request for cured ones or uncured ones if you decide to cure yourself. watch out for pests though. the only pestless rocks are from CF.
  7. err. looks like bryopsis. one of the MOST nuisance of all algae and nothing will eat it. except lettuce nudibranch and maybe seahare.
  8. take a look at some of these specimens below. all are saddleback clowns but with different colour variations.
  9. there are many variations even within a species... just look at the clarkii clownfish. there can be so many forms to this particular species of clown. yours is a saddleback clown. just a more unusual coloured one. that's all
  10. Looking for 2nd hand eheim 1260. pls pm me thanks
  11. no bother at all! this is a good question. cycling is over. you can leave it for an extra 2 weeks to stabalise which is a very very good idea. nope bacteria won't die. in fact, it will grow more. they will feed on the nutrients produce by living things in ur liverock. no need to add anything.
  12. yeah. i add 1 entire red pail of FW and the sg didn't even change
  13. this kind of WC no use 1 lah. just get iwarna do do 80% WC for u. till date i've done 3 major WC since post cycling. all my parameters 0 except PO4 lol. diatoms also v little.
  14. so jialat? worse than mine leh. do WC?
  15. yes rhomboid is nice but i'm so fascinated with the colours of the scotts. this fish is like impossible to retain colour.
