attention digiman and terryz. the wrasse we saw at iwarna and reborn is NOT C. temminckii. i repeat, it's not. it is a NEW species, but still part of the temminckii complex! here's a picture by H. tanaka. It is still undescribed. but i find it gorgeous!

females of both aussy and vanuatu hooded are uncommon and rare. your best chance will be to obtain a large alpha male and a very young male and pair them up. in time, the young male will revert back to female provided it doesn't get killed. this method works before. my group of marjorie wrasse exhibit this to and fro sex change. male > female > male again.

this picture taken with flash. look at the unreal colours that shows up when the camera flash reflects off the golden scales! unbelievable. but don't believe the colours of this photo. no rhomboid wrasse in the world have colours like this.

rhomboid just woke up in the morning. showing darkened colours due to stress and night time colours. such large rhomboids almost never do well. i hope mine doesn't come up with some stupid decompression problem or other wrasse problems in the next few days.
