Nudi Eggs They are normally found around the infected zoa polyps.

Yup, even if it is an aggressive anemone, a healthy fish should be able to dart out quickly. My firefish is always brushing past the rbta tentacles with no problems.
-
Bro, how big is your firefish? BTAs are not predatory in nature, and the sting is not strong enough to kill. The fish was probably sick and weak in the first place that's how it ended up in the anemone's mouth. Carpet anemones and those $5 white/beige blue tip anemones though, they will prey on your fish.
-
Yup, the anemone was split at the foot, there's a hole you can poke through and come out of the mouth hahaha. I kept it with hopes that it would split too haha Huh who never read?
-
It is incredibly small! About 8L. Will be hard to maintain water parameters, and there's no space to put a skimmer unless you hang it on the side. Size compared to SBO water bottle:

Thanks for the concern everyone! Unfortunately, by the time I found the clownfish it looks like that: The RBTA was attached to 2 rocks, and one of them fell off, tearing a big hole through the foot. I almost threw it away cos it looks like it is going to start spewing its guts into the main tank, but I decided to put it in my new toy and let it recover for now Bro, coral dip doesn't remove nudi eggs, that's why other reefers recommend dipping infected zoas more than once, a few weeks apart. Anyway the eggs are quite visible in the tank, you can remove them with tweezers.

Lemon: glad you find it well taken care of. The hammer is a hit with my pom pom crab, will update pics later in the morning. Btw, that cook island variant of the helfrichou you posted is damn nice! Terry: bought that from GO. Although it's very common, the green one really caught my eyes haha. Kiko: damn funny la your clowns. I dunno what's the attraction to the thermometer, maybe they are gadget freaks like what Jackie said. Anyway, just shifted the 24G to the kitchen to free up the existing space for the new tank. Act strong and carried the tank half filled with water..... Then realised that I had no exit strategy, nowhere to place the tank while I go back get the cabinet. In that moment of realisation I pulled a muscle in my back Quite an accident prone day. The 'unz unz unz' headphone wearing clown jumped out of the tank while I was out, and a live rock toppled, tearing my rbta almost into half

Shifting livestocks from my tank at the moment, will be trapping all fishes to shift to new tank. If there's anyone interested in the mystery wrasse, let me know. Will sell at what I bought it for, slightly less than 3 blue notes. Hands wet cannot use the comp to post pictures now, pics can be seen in the last few pages of my tank thread (link in my signature). A bit half hearted about whether to keep it, cos it has been showing threatening behaviour to smaller fishes (doesn't attack physically though). Will decide to keep it if there's no buyer by the time my new tank arrive. PM me if interested, collection in woodlands. Will give a purple firefish FOC to buyer if he wants.

No la not to the extent of being Thais 2.0 hahaha, we won't be able to share or buy everything in sight. On a smaller scale, like these days when I buy zoas, I take into account that a portion of it will be reserved for the club and I keep a 20 to 30 polyp frag for myself. Likewise, when other reefers give me free frags and I have extra, I offer them up to other reefers whom I know might be interested. Now that our PM is in a thread form and can include multiple parties, maybe we can start 1 and use that to update any activities or frags to share? I don't have a full member list at the moment, if anyone can send me I'll start one.
-
1. The objective of the group is to share frags. 2. The problem faced is that most of us do not have nice frags to share. Some of us took the effort to post pics in the gallery, but what happened was that the frags were either too common and everyone had them, or a person who wants something does not have any frag to share in return. The solution looks simple enough, turn this into a frag BUYING club where we go out, buy coral and frag to share, rather than to wait around for others to drop some polyps in their tank. Once we start BUYING and accumulating a collection, then we have frags to share right? Hahaha. Yup our problem is that we are a frag sharing club without frags to share, just my observation BTW, I will be breaking up some rocks of zoas in my tank before transferring to my new tank as I do not want large colonies of zoas. The usual common stuff like eagle eye, black face, pink palys and indo zoas etc. Will keep you guys posted via PM.

Lemon is really all action no talk... you really went ahead to buy the declivis without a moment's hesitation. Looks like money well spent, it's really beautiful!

Zoa B for me thanks!

So is Cedric.. But he stays at Bedok Reservoir.

From vincent's original sales thread: Note the size of the tentacles relative to the clownfish size. -

It's a very beautiful specimen... The bubble tentacles are as large as a grown man's thumbs! -
Thanks for your concern. Better liao, yesterday was worse.. I took 10 mins to reply to this thread then someone beat me to it and asked the same thing, hahaha! (See my first post asking abt the difference in glass)
-
@_@ Blur liao... So what I understand from your statement is that Crystal Clear = Starphire. Low iron is different from Crystal Clear or Starphire? Sorry, very drugged up at home, recovering from gastric flu since yesterday lol.
-
I don't think iron is purposely added to the raw materials for normal glass as what the person posted. Iron (II) oxide is present in the raw material for glass making, mainly silica sand. Crystal glass is made from silica products with minimal iron present. Comy, the poster said the 2 types of glass at 1/4 inch (6mm) and below show a negligible difference in optical clarity, so I guess he means you're better off using normal glass.

So you are the other RBTA buyer lol! Very nice and unusually fat tentacles! Very nice piece, tooo bad I was a bit slow that day, missed out on it. Post pics please -
Awesome pictures bro! Good that the trip went well and that you had a blast. Cos if I'm not wrong I remember a certain someone telling me 2 months ago that the trip is a stupid waste of time that he is not looking forward to! Hahaha, glad to see it was a life-changing trip.

Hi all, seeking to buy around 10kg of live rocks. Specifically those with interesting shapes as I am planning a rescape of my tank. Preferably with coralline algae (purple one hor, don't pass off red slime as coralline to me hahaha), and should be pest free. Will pay up to $8 to $12 per kg depending on condition of rocks. PM me with pics if you have anything that meets my requirement, thanks!
-
Bro, check with Justin if his is still available for sale. Edit: Seems like it's sold, paiseh.
-
What's the difference between low iron, starphire and crystal clear? Are they the same thing, with different brand or industry name?
-
Bro, you are younger than me, how come you have the memory of an old man? Hahahaha! I been to your house last year!
