Bro those are nudibranches, most probably zoa eating ones. Better to remove all of them. Have you noticed zoa polyps dying for no reason?

Great looking sump tank I'm sure this latest upgrade will be the kick in the butt that will get your motivation and morale back up.

It's really nice, if there are loose polyps please frag for me, I will give you something in return la of course Hey at least you don't have to look away quickly, girls are aware of the "quick look away of guilt" but will get totally confused by a look of disdain. In that confusion, take in the sight lol. I've said too much Today is considered one of the better days. 50% innocent talk about girls, 50% about reefing... You should have seen the days before AhSiang's suspension hahaha! Better not encourage him haha, he might take what I said as a challenge and post 100% nsfw content -

You got the green monster on the day we went down together? Didn't see that, but good catch... Cheap and nice haha. The secret to looking at girls is to have a permanent and unfriendly scowl like me! Hahaha! If they catch you looking at them, you will not look like a pervert, instead you will pick at their insecurities and they will wonder what is wrong with their appearance lol. Shit... my secret weapon is out liao. -
I've seen many variations of this design at freshwater LFSs, mostly Japanese brands, I believe Dymax also has a similar product. looks very good, especially useful for pico tanks.

Actually you don't know something, every time Jacky changes water, he will tear down the rocks and put them back together. Like how you disassemble a rifle to clean. This is practical training to keep his title as the reefer with the most rescapes

Check with peacemaker if he is going ahead with his tank upgrade. He might be selling his current set up. Also 3 sided crystal glass and 1.5ft display area with 6 inch ios behind (1.5 x 1.5 x 2ft). He is also displaying it on his desk.

Hi here's my tank thread: My 1.5ft Cube Basically it is a braceless open top tank with cabinet and sump. Pretty much plug and play if you go with all the options like light, skimmer and pump from DE Lighting.

Hahaha I never say crap hor don't put words in my mouth. I meant to say for a rock the size of a small baby, and the price you paid, it is a damn good deal. Completely different context. -

Welcome back, our fallen brethren. The eagle eye zoas is the best value purchase you've got so far. Anyway wat did you do to get the rbta to split? Threaten it with physical harm issit haha. I had it for 18 months and it never once split no matter how stressed, even when it was torn it just healed back. -
Hi all looking to buy any Sun Sun wavamaker, doesn't matter what the flow rate is or what condition. As long as it works and comes with the magnet. Any other el cheapo wavemaker with magnet holder also will do, as long as it won't cost too much. Will consider Hydor K1 or nano if the price is good PM me if you have any of the above. Mucho gracias!

I think you mean this white patch? Could it be aiptasia (back view, and this is the base)? The pic is a bit blue, can't help much, sorry Circled white patch and resized, in case any eagle eyed reefer can ID it.

I wouldn't use my tank as a good example la. I still think my old tank, the 24G JBJ nanocube (about 90 litres) is still a comfortable size for beginners. It is not so small that you will get sick of it easily, and it is also not so big where you will feel damn sian just at the thought of changing water. Regarding acclimatising, do read up on it, it has cropped up a few times in the past month so I'm lazy to retype again. Bottom line is that your livestock will be more stable and stress free when you acclimatise them. The sudden change in water condition from dumping them into the tank is actually quite stressful for them.
-
Hahaha yah that's my "school bag"
-
Invertebrates require slow acclimatisation to the tank water before introduction to the tank. Most of the time, the reason for sudden death of shrimps is PH or temperature shock. 2nd most plausible reason is predators. Some wrasses and hawkfish among other carnivorous fishes do eat shrimps.

Wah like that also can connect to him lol. But seriously clam chowder, if you want I can help you drill your bottle cap on the spot. Not sure how many of you have seen my bag, but it is truely a doraemon bag. I've got a DSLR, lunch box, water bottle, notebook, tweezers, penknife and mini drill inside among other things haha.

Wah my name kena drag through the mud with you already, what other bad karma you wanna wish on me hahaha!
-
AhSiang won't "or else..." already, he will go into great detail of what will happen hahaha!
-
OMG don't let Ray see that statement or else......

Bro, sun corals are not photosynthetic, they don't need light as a food source. They need to be target fed regularly with meaty stuff like mysis and brine shrimp. They are quite easy to keep as long as you feed them. Personally, I feed them with pellets cos I'm lazy to prepare a separate diet for them haha.
-
You can use an external temperature controller (around $100+) for the fan, set it to cut off at 28 degrees or something like that (Achievable for such a small tank). That way, it will not blow constantly and cause too much evaporation, not to mention that the temperature will be more constant.

Behold my secret project - Super laser gun:

Wah what's wrong with botak? By attacking his hair you are attacking me too... I used to shave skin head lol.

Thank you, will reciprocate in kind the next chance I get. Warning: suaning Ray will result in bad karma hahahaha

Hi bro, welcome to the forum. Adding ice cube is a very bad idea. When the ice cubes melt, it will decrease the salinity of the water. Even if you freeze salt water to match the salinity, are you going to be around every hour to maintain the temperature? I tried to work around this when I first started my nano tank by using ice packs, end up it does more harm than good, I gave up and bought a chiller. Edit 1: I know it is bad form to complain about a downvote... but really? I get bad karma for helping a bro out when nobody else answered? Edit 2: So Raydiative is the culprit! LOL... The price I pay for teasing him all the time, real karma lol.
