Anyone know where to get Hydor Koralia Nano? AM out of stock. -
Big fat worm.... good for fish bait.
-
Coral banded shrimp, arrow crab and bicolor dottyback are said to hunt for these worms if small enough. Your's at 2 feet will need other measures. Speaking of bristle worms, check this out.
-
Looks like Poccilopora. Warm fuzzy feeling.

Add water to sump. Use only distilled, DI, or RO water.

There seems to be some truth to the worm-eating slug story... The scientific name of the slug is Chelidonura Varians. -
Total cure for Ich ( white spot ) ?
iskay replied to leonard2k's topic in Disease treatment/parasite/pest control
Seahorses are fishes so are potential hosts to Ich. While all inverts (snails, shrimps, crabs, pods) and corals are not. Leaving the tank fishless will starve off all Ich in the tank, but you also need to treat your fishes separately to rid them of Ich. Else there'll always be a potential for re-introduction of Ich into the tank as some fishes will carry Ich with no visible symptoms. My opinion is that keeping fishes in top health is the best defense as they can naturally fight off Ich. Proper quarantine and acclimation will allow new members a better chance of not getting or surviving Ich. Here's more detail reading for your interest. -

Choose wisely as whatever position you choose finally, the clam will bore into the rock and it'll be near impossible to remove.

Any coral updates on reborn? Cleaner shrimps medium size usually between $10-12. as far as I know. If anyone got lobang, pm me. -
Cool. I hope my blenny gets enlightened soon on these gourmet cuisine.
-
Generally considered non reef safe. Give your corals a break. There are previous post on this.
-
Thanks for all suggestions. Hi Markie, Does your blenny come up to get the pellets or wait until they sink? I use Sera Granumarin but all my other fishes gobbles up all the food before they have a chance to sink to the bottom. If too much sinks to the bottom, diatom and algae will become a problem.
-
Hi reefers, My lawnmower blenny is extremely hardworking and have stripped all algae from LR. I tried feeding it with nori but the nori flakes just float around and were ignore by the lawnmower. Any suggestions? I got Aquapharm Marine veggies and it comes in small strips of 1mm by 3mm so it's not possible to tie it down to a rock.

I remember seeing a few specimens at the following: The Tropical Fish Centre Blk 509 Bedok Nth St 3 #01-99 Singapore 460509 Tel : 6444 7839 I'm bad at angel ID so dunno what species. Shop run by a uncle auntie pair. Dunno if couple as auntie always call uncle as 'boss'. It's a small shop but does have OK LS most of the time. I've seen the following in this shop one time or another: tassled filefish, blue ribbon eel, golden coral banded shrimp, banded pipefish, marine betta. As for corals, they carry mostly soft and LPS. Be careful to choose healthy specimen though as I saw Ick on some fishes sometimes. -

From many forum posts, Chiller kicking in frequently could be a result of too low flow rate. From Resun website, Minimum and maximum flow rate of CL-280 is 500 and 1000 liters per hr. Found this interesting article from another aquarist on how he DIYed external temperature probe to reduce the frequency of the chiller kicking in. Hope this helps.
