  2. Hi bro, yup agree, adding more fish will make it more lively i currently have only a flame hawk in the DT. Will be transferring more fish from the frag tank in the near future

  7. I tested some of my water parameters last night (2 June 2017) 1. Phosphorus: 33ppb using Hanna (my ideal range 15 to 40 since there is hardly any sps) 2. Alkalinity 8dKH using Hanna (my ideal range is 8 to 11, so I will be increasing my alkalinity by a little) 3. Calcium 395ppm using Hanna (my idea range is 400 to 450) 4. Salinity 1.024 by refractometer 5. pH 8.10 (day) to 8.06 (night) monitored continuously by American Marine pH monitor 6. 25.5 to 26 degrees cel by chiller and confirmed by two thermometers (one at sump, another at display tank)
  8. One of my scolymia is showing sign of receding (picture taken on 2 June 2017): Initially I thought that it could be due to pests or underfeeding. But after doing some research, I think that it is more likely to be due to strong water flow. So I'm going to lower the water flow and see if it helps the scolymia to recover. I will be documenting the progress here.
  9. Thanks, Yup in a 300 micron bag
  10. Filtration: I'm using aragonite reef rock bought from AM, a Skimz SN123 for protein skimmer, two marine pure blocks for bacteria to grow on, and rowaphos for phosphate control. Picture of my sump: Front View Marinepure block x2. One is broken as I was using a smaller sump previous and it couldn't fit a whole block. Rowaphos

  15. Hi everyone, I have been running my current system for a few months now, and I wanted to start a topic on it to document it's progress as well as to seek feedback from you all, to see how the system can be improved. I got a skimz AIO60 from AM and combine it with a frag tank build by AA. This is a pic of my current setup: I will be providing more details (filtration, equipment and livestock) later, when I manage to get the pictures. Thanks!!
  16. Agree, Vincent from AA did the piping work to connect my two tanks, and he is very meticulous in his planning. His pipe work is clean and functional.
