My feedback. bro, do look into it when i upgrade my lights hor!!! yes. but of coz to a certain extent that it does not exceed that of well known/well made brands. must take into account the worksmanship and material cost as well. must oso give u kopi monies la. as long as lightweight, does not succumb to warping due to heat can liaoz. yes. will make the fixture lightweight and less heat in the fixture too. DE. juz hv a liking for them. wider variety of bulbs & brands to choose from too. as pro as possible. best can look like AQ. luv to hv sleek design! sit on tank. that's why prefer to hv it lightweight, external ballast, etc. yes pls. coz i like to use 10kk for good growth, but a tinge on the yellow side. wld luv to hv T5s actinic supplement. will be most ideal to hv 4xT5s as supplement. quite a hard man to please huh?

Think as to whether ES or H&S better is rather subjective. even in RC.

this damsel is known as the yellow dascyllus. so far hv only seen it twice. once in CF, another in reborn.

from the looks of the packaging, it shld 25W FL lights. actual length of tubes approx 2.5 feet or 750mm. meant for 3 ft FL casing.

hi ozy, small setup??? how small is small, care to share the tank vol? IME, i hv used the red sea prizm and AquaC Remora b4. hv not used the Deltc H.O.T skimmer b4 so shall nor comment on that. IMHO, prizm was doing fine till i started venture deeper into corals. the capacity of the skimmer is overrated. AquaC looks good and work fine. in fact, i wld say it is better in terms of performance as compared to the prizm. u can ask hippo, he bought my Remora. there some other hang ons in the market, i believe the macro needlewheel can oso be hang on and the reviews on it so far are quite positive. but of coz, it wun be as slick looking as the meant to be H.O.T skimmers like deltec or remora. juz me 2 cents.

juz me 2 cents, if u eventually achieve what u want (perfect water parameters, etc) in the end, who cares what cheapo equipment or whatsoever u use. as long as it works. black cat or white cat, as long as can catch mice is a good cat.

more than often unless otherwise, majority of the corals found in lfs here comes from the indo-china sea. which will be "rare to the US" hence the expensive price tags. vice versa, the corals found common in the US (from carribean, etc) will be expensive over here. e.g. ricordea floridas.

it could all well be dissolved. but i wun rule out the possibility of hitchikers in the tank.

i agree, the power consumption of only 18W and yet delivering 2000l of water to my skimmer, really packs a punch. btw, the AM Multi SL oso uses a 18W aquabee pump too. performance is as good or even better than H&S.
