i dunno how true this is, but from personal experience and hv seen quite a few cases, 2 sons in a family, normally one will get the so call lobo service side of the force. the other will kena terlok terlok combat side. e.g. my brother is a driver (so called MT line sergeant), and i am a pioneer (so called combat engineer sergeant attached to infantry battalion). do other reefers hv anything in common to share?

a little contribution on queensland: Brisbane is a fine city. i see no truth on racism (except on a few rare occasions) and pauline hanson is nothing but a piece of history now. like wat i said, gold coast (surfers' para) is juz an hour drive away. along the way, there is movie world, sea world, etc. drive further down the pacific motorway, u will get to the most easterly point of australia which is byron's bay. at byron's bay, during the right season, u will get to see the humpback whales, free swimming dolphins (i saw a pink dolphin there!!!) treasury casino is in brisbane city itself, conrad jupiter is in gold coast. up the other way, there is sunshine coast......... so on and so forth. lots of koalas and kangaroos in the enclosures.......... like wat Rumor said, it is not all abt having fun. balance btw ur studies and enjoyment. i'm sure most will get thru very fine. like wat the aussies will say: cheers, mate.

how to maintain? dose iodine additives with caution. ideal level for reef tank: shld be ard 0.06ppm. buy a bottle of lugol's solution (WMR or KM), dose according to instructions given.

not to say that the daeil or artica is good as i hv not use it b4. but IMHO, try to get a chiller with at least 1 to 2 years of local warranty support, e.g. artica, daeil, pac coo, etc. quote myself as an example, atman chiller kaput on me barely 4 mths into using it. cannot find anyone to blame, resulting in the purchase of another chiller and losses of many corals, not to mention the time and effort. demand for specifications of chiller if available, juz to make sure they r not bullshiting u on the cooling capacity, compressor rating, etc.

it might well be ur NO3 levels. ur tank is pretty much overstocked esp wif 4 anthias which require frequent feeding. how many LS did u increase overnight? check ur iodine levels 2, might be due to molting difficulties 2.

wolfie: Queensland is great. i hv driven over 2000++ km to melbourne. on the way visiting sydney and canberra during one of the short winter breaks for a road trip. i find sydney a little 2 complicated and busy. canberra is boring. melbourne is great 2. for reefers, cairns will be the best place. spiderone: once u see the ferraris at Milton, Qld, u dun even wanna look at the supras, skylines, fairladies, silvia, etc.
