  3. same here. doing exactly as what u hv described, except that i wrap some filter floss around the outlet of my beckett skimmer to minimise microbubbles and salt spray.
  4. do ur referencing and citation well. Plagarism is a serious offence in Aussie Unis. maybe u can get in contact with terryansimon who is also in la la land. then both of u can hv a jolly good time. all the best to u 2.
  5. u can call on petmart to enquire on chemi-pure's availability and pricing. not too sure if it can be used along with aquapharm PUR II.

  7. as i suspect, that's why i asked for a pic. thx.
  8. not all "tonga rhodactis" comes from tonga. certain genus looks similar, but upon closer observation, u will see the difference. some "tonga rhodactis" can be found in indo waters. e.g. look closely at the purple tonga rhodactis that Dazer and I posted. they look similar, actually, they come from different places. can u spot the diff?
  9. updated overall tank pix. no more room. current setup is abt 2.5 mths old.
  10. tank parameters still not optimal. pls excuse some of the browned-out sps colonies.
  11. some sps pics (taken with only T5s switched on).
  12. my lps $$$ damage over the wkend. purple centred favia.
  13. luminous green/orange indo rhodactis bought from a fella reefer recently.
  14. I unit (large) is meant for up to 40 gallons. Read this for more info.
  15. i hv been using chemi pure right from the start of my hobby. hv not had any problem with it. overdose of carbon is not advisable. try to use GAC in small proportion but change at short regular intervals.
