my purple tubeworms r not opening....... i hv 2 of those and they hv not been opening for a week now. the rest of my other coloured tubeworms r ok. i hv felt my purple tubeworms ang they r still alive and wriggling inside their tubes. they juz simply refuse to come out. can anyone help me wif this? thks.

normally if they dun appear after 3 days, u can assume they r dead........ probably eaten by some crustaceans. that's why u couldnt find the bodies.

the leftover kalk can be used to kill off aiptasias...... very useful.

uhmmmmm....... this is getting out of hand!!!

they r pretty shy fishes by nature, but beware of crabs and shrimps that try to eat them at night. i hv lost about 10 this way so far.

HMM...... maybe i should start throwing in a little cheap starfishes soon.

comfirm plus guarantee....... bought about 18 at amk 2 mths back. the lfs called it orchird shrimp........ but it's harlequin alrite...... why r u so surprised that my harlequin is well despite the fact that it is not feeding on starfishes??/

I only feed mysis and brine shrimp to my livestocks in my tank. dt live planktons to my corals....... wondering what does my harlequin feeds on then?
