Hi all, I am abt to get a calcium reactor but I am puzzled.... as in the calcium level in my tank do not drop, at most only varies minus 20ppm. my tank is a mixed reef system with mainly lps, sps, rics, clams...... i can c that my clams r growing as they r growing bigger with new deposits on their shells. sps r mostly colouring up and some r oso growing...... most lps and rics open up well. i am dripping kalk mixed with vinegar solution in the night when the lights r off....... wonder should i go ahead and buy a Ca Reactor...... my specs as of today: SG= 1.023 ammonia= safe nitrate= 25 to 500ppm (abt 35ppm) phosphate= 0.03ppm calcium= 460ppm kh= 9dkh ph= 8.3 all test r conducted at abt 1.00am. lights on. tank specs r as per signature. ammonia test using seachem ammonia alert nitrate, calcium, phosphate tests using salifert kh test using sera ph test using hanna test pen SG test using ATC refractometer pls help.......

IMHO, the skimate is too wet......

I can get $100 for 1kg package...... locally...... no need to go thru the hassle of freight......
