Hi all, Juz thought i bid farewell to SRC and all the reefers here. many thks to those who have guided me along the way in ths hobby. special thks go out to those who r going to take great care of my reef while i m away. hope to c u all real soon when i get back somewhere ard christmas. will try to get online soon when i get settled down with work and life in japan.

hmmmm...... i used to own 2 eden 228 b4, think there is a small metal rod in the hole u were describing. do u hv that.

IMHO, u can oso try checking ur salinity and Kh, somehow or rather, they play a part in the skimming too. or is there nothing to skim? or did u notice this problem after feeding? juz me 2 cents.

best is every 2 hours u drive, take a 15 mins break........ if possible, make sure u hv spare drivers rotating the driver's job.

i hv been using the foam backdrop since day 1..... mine is sky blue in color. the only thing is pls ensure u dun keep sea urchins!!! else u will c little pcs of foam floating on the water.
